Lovely. Everything was great and the owner was enjoyable. I had the Chicken, Jollof & Plantain rice platter which was excellent. My friend ordered Egusi & Chicken Swallow platter. I have a texture issue so while the Egusi tasted good, I couldn’t enjoy past a taste. My friend loved it and destroyed it. Would recommend it for anyone that doesn’t mind strong flavors.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! I ordered the egusi with chicken and another with fish, and both dishes were absolutely delicious — full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The woman who helped us was so friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic, great-tasting Nigerian/African food. We’ll definitely be back next week to try more dishes!

My Caneroonian husband and I were super excited to try food from his region of the world while visiting my hometown of West Palm Beach, Fl. However, our excitement was soon met with disappointment after experiencing the food and customer service at this Nigerian restaurant. The hostess/cook was sleepy sounding and rude on the phone while we were inquiring, and even ruder in person when we arrived. I no longer wanted to visit after the phone call, but my husband was craving African food. In person, she was short with answering our questions about the menu, and ignored us in favor of a relative/friend who ws eating in the restaurant. She was not welcoming or friendly at all. We did not feel welcome. We should have left immediately, but edrive far andx my husband was so hungry by this time. The food was subpar, not warm and not flavorful like we are accustomed to with African food. The chicken was dry and tasted old and reheated ( but not warm). The egusi was salty. The pounded yam was a small portion for $40 worth of food. The rice was just ok. Needless to say, we do not recommend this establishment, and will never visit again.I wish we had a better experience.

Had an amazing conversation with another customer while we were waiting and she recommended the egusi. One of the best ones I’ve had to date. The jollof and chicken rice plate is also an amazing bang for your buck! Entrees range from $15-20 if you’re a first timer I’d def recommend the rice with beef or chicken.

This was my 2nd visit to Àsùn Nigerian Kitchen. Each time has been enjoyable. The food is fresh and very flavorful. This time I had the Jollof Rice with Stewed Chicken and Plantains. It really is delicious, and with just the right amount of spicy heat to keep it authentic.

I wish I could give everything zero. It was my first time I never been. Rude over the phone while asking for directions said she doesn’t have time because she’s cleaning and ended the conversation. When I arrived the place was empty no a soul was there.. I explained I couldn’t find because there’s no sign just a small flyer in a tinted window I could barely see even if the cars weren’t in the way. Soon as I said that she yelled and said it’s not that don’t say that you’re just not good with directions. Completely insulting my intelligence I just walk out since I already had the food in hand. I was picking up food for a friend I decided to try the food it wasn’t good I didn’t pay for it my friend did but I would never considering that interaction and treatment 0/10 do not recommend there are a lot better places in terms of customer service and food.
