Over the recent few years I have ate a lot of Honduran food from different Honduran restaurants throughout mostly Miami area. I have become somewhat of a connoisseur on Baleadas, even able to distinguish the sharpness of the cheese and the right and wrong amounts of frijoles and cream, to the taste of the tortilla.

With that being said I wanted to lay the groundwork for my review of this place. I had to start with the iconic Honduran baleada. The tortilla was good, the cheese was a bit too sharp and they put in a lot of cheese and cream a bit too much for me.

I also tried their horchata, and this was the star of the show. Sweet and savory and just very good.

The main course is what this specific restaurant is known for their Honduran style fried chicken, cabbage and plátanos. The chicken was cooked nicely and the meat was juicy and not dry. Unfortunately, it did lack on flavor but I understand you’re supposed to put all the dressings on top.

Overall the food wasn’t bad, wasn’t amazing but was good. What really makes this place stick out is its great service and cleanliness. Honduran restaurants tend to not be the most clean and are notorious for bad service. Not this place, super clean, open kitchen, smiling service.

I was going to give it 3 stars based on the food itself but the overall restaurant, cleanliness, and service bumped it to a 4.

Definitely a fun spot to go and get a taste of some good Honduran food!

The cuisine was delectable, served hot, and rich in flavor. The service was satisfactory, and we have no grievances. The establishment is somewhat compact, yet it maintained a high standard of cleanliness.

Update: I tried to remove the pictures because they were not from this restaurant. I made a mistake.

To be fair when I first try it about 4 Months Ago the Food was very good but it appears now it tasted alittle different perhaps they were in a rush or something like that. The Baleadas and Pollo Chuco it’s not what it used to be. Great Service and Pleasant atmosphere. Excellent Orchata Drink!

To start this review, let me start by saying that it’s going to be very unfair, because there’s not many stars that I can give to this chai of restaurant, if I can give them 100, for sure I would. And of course there’s not many words to say how good was everything. One of the best coffees, they have it, so reach and creamy, and the way food is cooked it’s incredibly, those fried beans were delicious and the pastelitos has no name. Congratulations to all the people and owner from this establishment, they really know what they doing, best thing, is a Christian restaurant.

The dishes are amazing ! The chicken has a great flavor, the sauce in the middle is really good, the juice is good as well. They do play religious music. The pupusas were warm.

my Honduran friend took me to a truly authentic restaurant in South Florida. The coffee came with Rosquilla cookies, which were crispy, slightly hollow, and had a delicious taste of cheese and milk that paired perfectly with the coffee.

We tried the pupusas, which are thick corn tortillas with various fillings. We had the cheese and chicharrón varieties. These pupusas were drier and more refreshing than the Salvadoran ones, with the chicharrón adding a rich, savory flavor.

The enchiladas were crispy tortillas topped with ground beef, pickled onions, and boiled eggs. The slightly sweet sauce and tangy pickled onions and peppers added a nice kick. The taste was rich and flavorful, just like my friend remembered from home.

Baleadas were another highlight, featuring a flour tortilla filled with beef, scrambled eggs, mayonnaise, avocado, and bean paste. The flavors were smooth and slightly sweet.

We also tried Horchata and Nance, a fruit new to me that tasted like a mix of tomato and pineapple with a unique fragrance.

The Honduran Pastelitos were crispy and filled with rice and minced beef. The sauce added a distinct flavor that was very enjoyable.

Overall, trying these Honduran street foods was a delightful experience. The flavors were rich, the dishes looked appetizing, the prices were reasonable, and the service was very friendly. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

I’ve been to Honduras many times and lived in Miami for 30 years, and this is the first time I’ve tasted original Honduran style cuisine here in South Florida. 10 out of 10. Must come and try it for yourself.

The food is great but takes too long and the service has gone down before the waitress Genesis was very attentive and caring. So I just order from the sunrise restaurant

In love with this place! I live almost 30 minutes away from this place but when I want some breakfast especially with that texture of back home. This is my place to go too. The food and the employees are the best they treat you like family but mostly of all with a beautiful smile! And that gives amazing satisfactory energy in which you would like to stay at all day. I’m definitely going back for sure.
