This place is great! The new owners have transformed this restaurant in positive ways. I am their next door neighbor, and I see it being more family welcoming, and I no longer see the typical drunks on the street like I did in the past. They have cleaned it from the inside out. The owner painted an outside mural that has seating. She took a Prison yard look atmosphere in the back area and transformed it into an Outside Oasis. The food is good. I would encourage you to go here with your family, and they are receptive to feedback too which speaks Volumes about them unlike the past. Also, I do not see the new owners tolerating any unacceptable behaviors. Give them a try….their Burgers are AMAZING!

My boyfriend & I went here on Valentine’s Day for the first time, food was great. We went again on 2/21 & we got burgers. Asked them to be well-done. The burgers came out like rare. We talked to our waitress she got the manager over there. The manager was trying to compensate, we just wanted our burgers. Her reply was “well if you want a well-done burger it’s gonna take a long time”. Fast forward. The new burgers come out & they were burnt to a crisp. Tasted like charcoal. We get home & throughout the night we realized something was wrong. Even tho we only ate half of the burnt burger my boyfriend & I have been sick ever since.

Went in on Wednesday (which was advertised as wrap special day. Wrap chips and drink $7.99). There was not even a wrap on the menu. Waitress said menu changes day to day. She told us the wrap special was chicken, what ever wing sauce we wanted on it, lettuce, tomato. And cheese. My wife added bacon to hers and I got what the Waitress said came on it. When we got our ticket, my wrap was $8.99 and hers was 10.47. I can understand a upcharge for the bacon but mine was original. When we asked the Waitress about the bill she immediately copped an attitude. She went and fixed the bill and when she came back my wife apologized if she had said anything wrong (which she had not) and the Waitress’s attitude was even worse. First and last time to your resturant. Food was good but I will not tolerate my wife being treated like that.

Awful. New ownership and just odd. Food was GROSS. Cheesesteak had no cheese asked for only lettuce came with 99% onions and peppers. Sliders we had to use a paper towel to get all the insane amount of grease off. I guess there is also a cheese shortage because this is the cheese on the sliders. We enjoyed coming here before new ownership. Just odd.

Four of us had dinner and drinks, wings flatbread and grilled shrimp salad all were very good. The jalapeño poppers are the best I’ve ever had.Overall great night and enjoyable place to unwind with friends! Recommend!

We went when it was uptown tavern and actually enjoyed it. It was affordable with decent food. Then they changed ownership, name and menu. Don’t like it all. I got a flatbread that was completely burnt on the bottom. It wasn’t even edible. My girlfriend loves shrimp and grits and to my surprise she was displeased. We both ordered drinks. I got a long island iced tea. You wouldn’t think you could mess up a LIT but wow. Unless you like sweet and sour mix and in the wrong glass I highly recommend that you do not order it. Horrible. With drinks and food with a tip it was over $60 for 2 people. For Eden that is outrageous. I saw they had a buckets burger for $21. That’s insane. Who average person in Eden can afford that. Oh but a cheeseburger is $17.50 if you just don’t want pay $21. I would rather take a $5 whopper honestly. Unless you are retired or just like to blow your money then go for it. The quality is horrible. For $60 I am definitely not going back. i mean, it’s called a tavern not a restaurant. $15-20 a person to eat is ridiculous for a tavern

My boyfriend and I came here for a spontaneous mini road trip date and we were both so happy we picked Buckets! We drove 40 minutes to check this place out and it was SO WORTH IT. We love supporting local businesses, and this is a business that is more than deserving of that support. We got there late as we both worked late and we asked if it was still ok to order food. The wait staff and bartender were extremely hospitable, welcoming, and attentive. The menu offers a wide range of options and classic bar food. And the prices are more than reasonable for drinks and food! I had a painkiller, it was made to perfection and they even served it with one of those cute lil tiki umbrellas. Because we got there so late they were out of pasta, which didn’t bother us at all because it was easy enough to pick something else. Our waitress even gave us a discount on the food we ordered to make up for being out of pasta. We both insisted she did not have to do that, but we still appreciate the extra mile that she went to make sure we felt taken care of. We got the jalapeño poppers, fried ravioli, mashed potatoes (which my boyfriend was very excited to see on a menu at a bar, neither of us had seen that before), the philly cheesesteak, and sweet potato fries with the marshmallow dip. All of the food was AMAZING. The jalapeño poppers were wrapped in bacon, the fried ravioli was perfect, the mashed potatoes were BANGIN, philly cheesesteak was awesome and the waitress was sure to ask what toppings I wanted on it. The sweet potato fries are the PERFECT cut for that just right ratio of fry to filling, and the marshmallow dip was so unique and delicious. We will absolutely be returning on our next spontaneous mini road trip date night.

The place looks awesome. Was clean and the server was very friendly and attentive. Food came out fast. However, was disappointed in the sliders. I was looking for old fashioned pattied out burgers. Instead, I got what looked like a pressed sausage patty. The meat was spongy and pressed meat. I talked to the waitress about it and she said that It was angus burger. But, It is ordered. Y’all need to consider a new supplier for these. It was like cafeteria mystery meat. Sorry, just want to be honest. The boneless wings are good.

Guys, the prices here are totally unreasonable. $30 for shrimp and grits; small portions. $21 for a cheeseburger that’s comparable to a Sonic drive-in. The owner needs to pick a lane: fine dining (which would be welcome in Eden) or bar food (sports bar with reasonably priced food).

I have had the privilege of performing live music several times at Bucket’s. It’s one of my favorite venues in Rockingham Co. The crowd there is top notch. Very friendly folks. The owners are great and the food is on point!! You won’t be disappointed at Bucket’s.
