I tried the birria tacos from Los Agavez Taqueria at The Little Grand and they were pretty good. The meat was tender, the flavour was there, and the queso gave it a nice creamy touch, though I would have loved a bit more cheese. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned.
The portion felt a little small for the price, and while I enjoyed them, they’re probably not something I’d personally go back for. Still, if you’re at the market and in the mood for birria tacos, they’re worth trying at least once.

We found our favorite Mexican restaurant in Columbus – finally!!! Real Mexican food. After 3 years of trying different average spots that other people rave about, we found Los Agavez.
I ordered 3 Birria tacos + consomme and an Al Pastor taco on the side. The consomme was delicious by itself – it had all the right spices. I love that the red salsa is actually spicy, and you can taste the depth and smokiness from toasting the red peppers before it’s made.
My only complaint is that they don’t make fresh tortillas. The Al Pastor was great as well. I need to come back and try more menu items.

Ugh… I got the California burrito, it was soooooooooooooooo salty that it made it gross and I could not finish it. It did not come with enough queso and the chips were not appealing at all. The staff is really nice though and we’re kind to me. I would not recommend eating here. Choose the pho place instead.

When I got the opportunity to dine at Los Agavez, I got the Happy Agave burrito. The vegetables on the side were fresh, some of the Al Pastor was chewy but still flavorful and the mozzarella went well with burrito. The service was also fast. Overall, this place was a good experience and I’d definitely recommend going.

I drove all the way to Columbus for the barria tacos… and I was not disappointed. The flavor is amazing, the tacos are cooked too perfection, and the consomé was so good I had to stop myself from drinking it straight from the cup. 10 out of 10, would recommend.

I heard that they had the best birria tacos in town, and I was not disappointed. Perfect on a cold day. It would be hard to get anything else if I’m at Little Grand. This place should be on any Columbus taco / Mexican list!

This taco store was authentic. Their large stacked meat looked attractive in the kitchen. I tried their Al pastor and birria taco. Their taco flour was authentic. The signature Al Pastor tasted better with juicy and flavorful meat. But the price was a little high and service was a little slow. There was no taco Tuesday deals.

Overpriced al pastor street tacos that were very dry. Right when he was cutting it off, you can see just how dry it is. How in the world is it that the pineapple is dry??? Holy smokes that was a waste of money.

– I wouldn’t recommend this spot. The prices are high for the small portions, especially the burritos. My food was already cool on the first bite, and I ate in the restaurant. On top of that, the rice, beans, and al pastor had no flavor and were served cold. They even had the meat on the burner, but it wasn’t on the entire time I was there. You will be disappointed!!!
