I came here on my sister’s recommendation and it didn’t disappoint.
AMBIANCE: Decor is an opulent mix of rich colors and various textures. The service was attentive and genuinely welcoming, which made the experience even better.
FOOD: Spectacular! We tried:

Lunch buffet was excellent and all options were fresh and delicious. I appreciated that naan was included and our order of garlic naan was freshly made. The entrees were a mix of classic options plus a few Indian Chinese options. The buffet also had panipuri which was good. Dessert was great, especially the mango brûlée.

I am not a huge fan of eating a lot, but their lunch menu with a combo was just perfect. It’s right on the money with the quantity and quality. Fried rice spice level was perfect, gobi manchurian was crispy & sweet just melted on my tongue. Owner and management are from Hyderabad. Ambience was very nice too.
I suggest going here and give them opportunity to serve you a delicious meal. Management (Krishna garu &Savita garu) stopped by to ensure everything was good. Appreciate their hospitality. Must go..!

Wow . A hidden gem .. found this through some insta posts and one of my friends referring . Google reviews were really good and wanted to try . Of course it didn’t disappoint ! A perfect andhra style biryanis and dishes. Location wise it is slightly off the main oak tree road .. lots of parking outside . I liked the interiors . Really spacious and welll lit . They also have a small banquet hall which was good ..
I had ordered chicken 65 biryani to go and it was one of the best biryanis I have had in Edison NJ area . Loved the spice .. fantastic flavor .. the raitha was very watery . Wish they made it more solid .. the biryani side dish saerva was also too liquidy and didn’t have any flavor . It was still a worth biryani. Quantity was so much . 2 people can probably have 1 biryani. Was about 22$ for biryani .. liked it overall. Will visit back and try other stuff … 4 stars …. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a fantastic time at this Indian restaurant and left with a very happy stomach! We kicked things off with Gobi Manchurian—crispy, flavorful, and gone way too fast. For the main course, the egg curry was comforting and delicious, while the Gongura paneer was a pleasant surprise with its unique, tangy twist, perfectly paired with soft, fresh naan. And just when we thought it couldn’t get better, along came the gulab jamun – warm, soft, and sweet served in a very unique way with a twist enough to make us smile. Amazing food, great flavors, and a meal we’ll be dreaming about for a while. Thank you so much for such a tasty and joyful experience Sarita!

We had a great experience at Utsav Grand in Colonia, NJ! The atmosphere provided a perfect balance between an upscale and casual restaurant, having modern, aesthetic decor, warm lighting, and most importantly, an impressive (unique!!) seating layout. The large tables and spacious arrangement made it comfortable to enjoy multiple dishes without feeling cluttered. They provided an upscale atmosphere without it actually being a fine-dining restaurant.
The staff was friendly and attentive. Every dish delivered both in flavor and presentation. The Gobi Manchurian was so crispy with just the right amount of spice and tanginess. One employee—possibly the manager—went out of his way to offer us complimentary dessert. We had 2 appetizers, 2 entrees (with naan and rice), and 2 lassis, enough food for 4 guests.
It was an inviting atmosphere with flavorful dishes and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a nice meal in Central Jersey.

My family and I recently visited Utsav Grand and had a wonderful experience! With a charming atmosphere, large and comfortable space, and excellent food, our experience at Utsav Grand was perfect for a quaint family lunch. We ordered the Ghee Roast Chicken, Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice, Biryani Combo (available only on Mondays), and the Tawa Fish. Each menu item we ordered was cooked excellently and brought out to us quickly, and our server was very kind to us. Our portions were big enough that we ended up packing up food to go. With a reserved locale, high quality food, and very friendly staff, Utsav Grand is definitely worth the visit!
