Happily surprised on quality and service! Had not been back to Romeo for over 30 years – class of ‘86 so not a lot of recent restaurant/ bar visits to the area. However a lot of experiences elsewhere. This place was great. Loved the atmosphere and service so having great food was a definite plus. Homemade Pirogies made my day as they are not readily available all over. They were extremely good. One recommendation to heighten the experience would be to offer an option not deep fried because mostly healthy alternative but also different texture.

Had a seasonal cocktail, it was delicious! The black and blue burger on special was fresh and tasty. The fried pickles were amazing.

Good Time, But a Few Bumps Along the Way
We had been told by numerous friends to come check this place out, so we finally did — and overall, it was a good experience.
Service: Hands down, the service was amazing. The staff was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of throughout.
Food:
• We started with the mozzarella sticks. They needed a couple more minutes in the fryer — a bit undercooked.
• I ordered the Romeo Patty Melt. The meat was perfectly cooked, but the bread was soaked in grease. I get it — bar food — but still a bit much.
• The fries were crazy salted. We paid $4 extra to swap chips for fries and got what felt like a baby-sized portion. Thankfully, they did replace them (for both me and my wife), so props for that.
• My wife had the buffalo chicken wrap. It looked picture-perfect, but the buffalo flavor was missing. It happens.
• The kids had pizza and chicken tenders. The cheese on the pizza tasted a little off, but nothing major.
Atmosphere: The theater setup is very cool, definitely a fun place to hang out.
Beer: Absolute 10/10 — no complaints there!
In short: great service, awesome beer, fun vibe — just some inconsistencies with the food. Would we come back? Yeah, probably, but we’d be a bit more selective on what we order next time.

My brothers and I went here to celebrate their engagement, and the staff made it a great experience for us! The food was truly on an another level. We started with some of the best clam chowder I’ve ever had, which was hearty and fresh. We also tried the southwest egg rolls, and the ranch that they come with is insanely good!! I had a pesto chicken wrap that was to die for. My brothers split the bulldog nachos and they looked and smelled so good I had to try some. MY GOD they are good, if you’re coming here you HAVE to try them! We ended with caramel cheesecake bites and it was the perfect way to end the night. This food is all so fresh and meticulously plated, you can really tell they care about their doing here. We will definitely be back regularly!

Nice little bar/restaurant downtown Romeo. Mostly high top tables, some regular height. Very clean (though most of their chairs could use a new paint job). Madison, our server, was very attentive and nice, checking on us often. We went early on a Monday night, so we were the only table there till a table of 6 came in. My man ordered the sliders, 3 to a plate. Cheese was $1 extra. I ordered a “special” patti-melt, it included mushrooms and thousand island dressing along with the normal onions and swiss cheese. It was either the meat or the onions that were waaay too salty. Both mine and his were salty, and that’s what the 2 had in common. The grilled onions and the meat. So much so that we mentioned it to our waitress. Didn’t send it back because we didn’t want another wait. Oh, I had onion rings too. They’re the frozen kind. We’ll go back, but not for the burgers or onions!

After walking around the Romeo Peach Festival, we stopped for a bite to eat. To our surprise we found a hidden GEM with this restaurant! From the moment we walked in the customer service was 5 stars! Then the food and specialty cocktails was amazing, too! We have found a new favorite restaurant and I want to try everything on the menu!
Photos of the delicious Filet and Chimichanga!

Since moving back to the Washington area last summer, Main Street Bar in Romeo has quickly become my go-to spot. Growing up in Shelby Twp, I didn’t visit Romeo much, but I’m happy I found this local gem.
Main Street Bar has a great vibe that makes you feel welcome right off the bat. They’ve got an impressive selection of craft cocktails, and as someone who’s quite picky about their old fashioned, I can vouch that theirs is spot-on. But it’s not just about the drinks—the food, especially the pizza and pierogi, is outstanding and ranks among my favorites.
What really ties it all together for me is the staff. They’re friendly and attentive, making every visit more enjoyable. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s the kind of spot that makes you glad you decided to check it out.

Would’ve been 5 stars, but my family and I have been frequenting this place since around September and I’ve always been happy with the food. However, in the last month or so something changed and the food isn’t what it used to be. It’s just okay now, and I used to be blown away and excited to see what was on special every time I came in. Not sure what changed, maybe suppliers or something but I don’t think I’ll be back for a while.

I frequent this bar as I’m passing through town, and meet up with a friend of mine here and there. Typically the service is pretty decent, but the last few times we’ve been greeted with the blonde haired bartender and the service has been absolutely horrible. It took us an hour to get a menu, and about 3 hours to get two drinks and a fish dinner and cash out. It was strange like we didn’t exist, and she served other people several times before us. Almost seems like if you’re not a regular, there’s no point in going there.
