Excellent restaurant, we live nearby and finally went, first time since the Blue Sage used to be there. Parking lot was full but tables were available (they asked if we had a reservation, we did not). My wife appreciated the decor inside. Menu is small which means it won’t take my wife long to decide which is good. The server was attentive and friendly and described the specials. BYOB and the server opened and poured our bottle.
I ordered the ravioli special, can’t remember everything in it but it was topped with veal and quite frankly was one of the best meals I have ever had. My wife had the pasta with mix of seafood (mussels, clams, etc.) and was pleased with it, and we both had leftovers enough for another meal at home. Also started with a caesar salad which was very good (and nice that they offer a “small” version for a little less money).
The desserts they brought out for display looked excellent, but we passed.
Overall highly recommended. Just one comment, it’s a bit pricey but that assessment varies among people, but it’s not a bargain place. Then again the food was excellent, you won’t be disappointed.

Delicious food as always! Can’t go wrong here! Pricing is very affordable and it’s a byob! Check this place out, it’s worth it, but make reservations for Friday or the weekend!!

Bread and oil were very good. My party ordered the vodka ravioli and the gnocchi. The vodka sauce was good, the ravioli were decent but a bit on the thick side. The gnocchi and sauce were extremely bland. Staff was not the most welcoming. The music was too loud and you could hear everyone’s conversations. The menu prices on the rest of the items seemed a bit excessive. We will not be returning.

We love this place. It’s very small, and does get a bit noisy when it’s busy, but it’s worth it. Best bronzino I’ve ever had (and I pretty much order it wherever I see it). Their desserts are amazing too!

What a great place! Food was excellent as usual and our server Will is the best. One of the reasons we continue to come back is his friendly and attentive attitude. He really makes you feel welcomed!

The restaurant was a bit small and everything was close together. However, the food was very good and I would consider returning here. If you go, I recommend making a reservation because there are only about 6-8 tables and they were all full so you have to make sure you can get in and enjoy!

Food was excellent, service as well. Intimate dining experience, blue sage has lost this vibe when it moved to a larger locale. On it’s own merit, luca is a very nice place to dine.

PLEASE read this review – I have never written a food review, but felt compelled to do so after tonight, Seriously, one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. I went to Luca after work (on a Thursday) and was immediately greeted by our friendly and accommodating server, Wilber. Wilber brought us warm bread and olive oil, opened our bottle of red wine, and we ordered the scallops and the calamari for appetizers (P.S. HUGE plus that this is a BYO). The scallops were fresh, seared on all sides to absolute perfection, served on top of a blush tomato cream sauce, with delicate, refreshing greens on the side. The calamari was extremely fresh and crispy, served with slices of lemon and a marinara sauce that was just the right amount of sweet and spicy. For entrees, I ordered the pasta special, which was a green arugula pasta (home made pasta dough mixed with arugula,) with exotic mushrooms, ground veal, and fresh asparagus, tossed in a creamy tomato sauce. I’m Sicilian and have been eating pasta my entire life; and it was one of the best (like top 3) pasta dishes I have EVER eaten. The sauce was rich and balanced, and each bite was so flavorful that I could not stop stuffing my face. My coworker ordered the fileted bronzino topped with jump shrimp, which was served with fresh vegetables and potatoes. The bronzino , which had exquisite grill marks, was refreshing , accompanied by tender, juicy shrimp, with just the right amount of acidity; and potatoes and vegetables that were flavorful and seasoned to perfection. After dinner, we ordered the Tiramisu and Limoncello. By this point in the meal, I was already so blown away by the quality of the food and service, that this was basically the icing on the cake. Both deserts were impeccable by even the snobbiest foodie’s standards. Ismeal, the head chef, came out to our table to ask us about our dining experience, and personally thanked us for our positive feedback. He was so happy to hear that we enjoyed our meal, and we honestly felt like family by the time we left. Please, PLEASE check this place out. Obviously, it will be packed on weekends, so make a reservation if you plan on going on a weekend; however, if you have time during the week, make a concerted effort to go and experience the intimate, friendly, service and AMAZING food this place has to offer. Thank you Luca’s for an unforgettable meal.
