Food here wasn’t too shabby and staff was pretty okay. The service was extremely slow though, very much so, and seemed a bit disorganized. Although we made a reservation, we had to wait quite awhile even before getting seating, and it took a long time before they took our order, took a long time to get our apps, and took very long after our apps before the entree came out, and even took long to take our check.
To be fair, the food was all around pretty good. Caesar salad was fresh and tasty The lobster bisque was worth getting and seasoned well without being too salty, thankfully. The cod oreganata and shrimp scampi was solid. The crab cakes had too much batter for my taste and although big, kinda started tasting one note and reminded me of stuffing. I regret not going for the fish and chips. Or maybe I should gotten the lobster roll. Oh well, it was decent otherwise and maybe worth another try sometime.

If you want delicious seafood this is a must. The fluke was incredible tasty and fresh. And crab cake had big chunks of crab. In a great sauce. My friend had a Mahi Mahi

It was a great find for us on the Southern Shore in central Long Island. We were looking for a bite to eat before going to a concert at Jones Beach Theatre. Wide variety on the menu to suit all budgets to a great outdoor waterfront seat on a canal and docks. Great service from their staff. Their raw bar with clams and shrimp, the Watermelon Feta Salad, and Falafels were great appetizers. NY Strip Steak, Horseradish crusted Salmon and White clam sauce with Linguine were excellent entrées. Lately entrées have been on the small side. My wife said she was expecting the usual small portions we have been getting lately dining out. But not here. The roasted potatoes with the steak were a meal in themselves. Same with a side order of fries. Nice drinks. Thank you for making our outing to Jones Beach perfect. We will be coming back!

Picked this place because it was central to a group of friends, and that it was on the water. Many pros and only one con. First off, the food was delicious! I had grilled Branzino with lemon and summer veggies. It was the first time having this fish and it’s now my new favorite. Others had the blackened swordfish over Cajun rice (with sausage and shrimp), seared wasabi tuna with noodles, and a salad & lobster bisque. I think if it weren’t bad manners, we’d all be licking our plates.
Second Pro is the ambience…it was practically perfect. It’s a quiet dead end street, and small enough to be quaint. The service was good also.
Now for the con. When I called to make reservations I specifically mentioned that we had a wheelchair in our party. When we all met in the parking lot it was all gravel and not one designated handicap spot in the entire lot. My friend has. A van with a ramp and had to finagle a spot so he could get out of the van and not have far to get to the entrance. I’m this day and age, I would think every establishment would have designated handicap parking. Aside from this, we all agreed it was a great choice and would all go back.

First time here and was pleasantly surprised. Our table was directly on the docks and we observed boats going on and out!
Our food and drinks were delicious
The Lobster Roll had large chunks of fresh lobster meat; the seafood platter had a fresh variety of samples from the ocean and was quickly gobbled up!
They made every attempt to accommodate us from the hot Sun, by getting a second umbrella for additional shade. Highly recommend!!

Went there for my boyfriends birthday with family with reservations and everythingwent smoothly. I started with a costal mojito and it was delicious. As appetizers the group had calamari, and muscles with white wine sauce with decent portions of both. I like the fried banana peppers in the calamari! For my entree I selected a spinach and artichoke crusted salmon with risotto and it was amazing with a hearty portion, I was very satisfied. My bf got the Connecticut style hot lobster roll and also loved it! Will have to try again for date night.

Everything was top notch and delicious. One minor “ding” was the steamers app was not served with clam Broth so we couldn’t get rid of the sand/grit. If the dipping sauce wasn’t so wonderful, I would have sent it back.

At first we couldn’t find it, but if you take Seamans neck road south off of Merrick road, go to the end, we are so happy we did! Great, friendly atmosphere, awesome service, and the food was delicious! Highly recommend the grilled Branzino fillet, cooked to perfection…
