The service and ambiance are wonderful. I love the wooden picture that decorate the restaurant and would love to have an event here or large gathering. This place has it all; amazing customer service, great food, great atmosphere. I left so happy and well fed that I actually left my wallet at the restaurant. I had totally forgotten about it and Susana went above and beyond and reached out to me. I can’t wait to go back!

Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Their horchata was definitely the best I’ve had. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everything is in English and Spanish. The food is all homemade and they have different specials on different days. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. I definitely plan on going back!

Delicious food! Everyone loved their plates. The molcajete was sooo good and the portion sizes were generous! The margaritas were just as delicious! The mango margarita was the best! The quesabirrias are a must try! The meat is sooooo tender and flavorful! The chili verde was amazing also and super tender. The food is definitely made with love. The owner was extremely nice and even told us the back story on why she named her restaurant that name and it has a beautiful meaning behind it! We definitely will be coming back again there’s no doubt about that!

Only been for taco Tuesdays but go every chance I get. The carnitas are amazing 1.50 tacos there’s even half price margaritas that will not leave you disappointed. Family business, you will see kids and seems like the entire town comes through cause anytime I’ve come there’s a steady flow of customers. Fast service good food!

I ordered food to go. The staff were extremely rude and curt with me. We ordered nachos with carnitas, carnitas torta, and carne asada tacos. Two bites into the carnita dishes and we had to stop. Pure salt that left everyone nauseous. I had higher hopes for the tacos, nope, just more salt. This was a very expensive experience of disappointment.

Came in around 6pm for dinner. You go up to a counter and order. I ordered the Thursday special, which was three birria tacos and some chips and salsa for $10.99. I also ordered a small horchata. Not sure why there weren’t more people eating. Only two other tables. My food was brought in short order by a friendly server. I have to say the birria tacos and dip were amazingly good. They are big and full of tasty meat and cheese. I should have only eaten two, but man, so good and well seasoned, I finished the last taco as well. This place should be packed.

I arrived late… 9:50 they close at 10:00 PM, the owner was at the register. I asked if I could still order food. The lady asked me if I wanted the food to go. I said sure… I was really hungry. I work in Carmel Valley and had been working all day. I order the shrimp soup which I really like. Then she said I should eat it in the lobby… Which surprised me cause they were closing. I order a couple of tacos as an appetizer… Lol
I know I eat a lot… She brought me nachos n salsa…. still
The tacos were fenomenal!! To tell u the truth…. The tacos by themselves would have been enough, they were so big, and the salsa very good!. I am a man of my word so I still ate the soup … Left u guys a few pics… The soup takes a bit cause the meats are cooked fresh!!

Las Marias is the real deal! Family run restaurant that serves amazing portions of legitimately amazing food. Enjoyed my delicious chicken fajitas, but the birria taco was even better. Everyone left full and happy. If you are visiting town, forget the craziness of Cannery Row and come here instead!
