I stopped by Annabelle’s Natural Ice Cream in Portsmouth and tried the White Pistachio flavor. It was nice and creamy, though the flavor was a bit mild for my taste. The shop has a charming atmosphere and friendly staff, making it a pleasant place to visit. I’d recommend giving it a try if you’re in the area and enjoy trying different flavors.

there was a line but it moved fairly quick. Lots of ice cream options to choose from but I liked that they also have seasonal flavors and so I chose one from that list which was the Graham Central Station and of course the NH Pure Maple Nut. Both were delicious!
Inside was a bit old fashioned and dark though so I appreciate the few outdoor seats that they have – Especially since my ice cream started dripping. Location wise, it was a bit busy in Ceres street that day especially since it’s close to Moran Towing, restaurants and shops, etc so sometimes it could get a bit crowded and well..not the cleanest looking. Not their fault of course.

The triple chocolate was amazing – only wish I ordered a bigger size. Very generous with the inclusions. Charming old school vibe, with friendly staff. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area!

Stopped in for a fall treat. We had pumpkin, cookies and cream, and raspberry sorbet. Delicious! Cozy little space and very friendly staff. They accept Apple/Google pay and cash.

My boyfriend and I came to Portsmouth for a vacation, and we came to Annabelle’s Icecream, and Tom (our scooper) was super sweet and helpful! We went twice while we were there, and there’s so many great icecream flavors to choose from! It was so good and we will go again!! Amazing icecream! 🙂 if you’re in the Portsmouth area, please give this place a visit, you won’t regret it!

Good home made ice cream. Quick service and friendly staff. Small place to chills but the area is great because it’s in downtown portsmouth, NH. My family loves this place, busy place but it’s worth it. Come here for dessert if you ever come to Portsmouth, NH.

Such a cute shop. We got to talk with the new manager. He had just moved to the area from New York, which meant they were staying open in the off season. He was so nice to chat with and of course the ice was fantastic!

Wonderful ice cream shop! The staff was really helpful – they let me sample a flavor before ordering and had great suggestions. They have many traditional and unique flavors…something to please everyone. Try the raspberry chocolate chip – it was perfection. Also, they have a chocolate mint flavor called Mint Summer Night’s Dream that tastes just like Andes chocolate candies and was really nice. They only accept cash, but there is an ATM inside the store.
