This place USED to be amazing. My goodness this taco spot used to be my favorite. Their food was just so darn delicious. My go to order had always been the 3 count of quesabirra tacos and some fish tacos. Their quesabirria tacos used to be so so vibrant, flavorful, crispy, cheesy and the birria inside was so good. Genuinely just the best quesabirria tacos. All for $12 up until probably a month ago when their business really took a hard fall on literally EVERYTHING. Today I went here and those tacos were extremely bland and lacking flavor, not vibrant at all, barely crispy, SMALLER and just all around not good. They were $16. Is there new ownership?? Im confused. In basically a month they went up $4 and completely changed from how they used to make them. Now onto the fish tacos. Im sorry to anyone who missed out on getting their fish tacos before they fell on hard times because WOW they also used to have the best fish tacos. The batter on the fish tacos was amazingly crispy and light giving the perfect bite throughout the whole taco and each taco was well dressed with the veggies and whatnot contributing to that perfect flavorful bite throughout for $4 each. As for now….the batter on the fish really did nothing for the fish to be honest. They could have just left the batter off and put just the fish in their new taco. The flavor was bland, the dressings were missing, they were smaller. They were sad and soggy even though I ate them fresh, they are now $6.50 each. Im sorry about how long my review is but it genuinely makes me so sad that the tastiness in their food has plummeted. The taste is gone and the prices are up. I understand prices in life are high but how can you jump from $12 to $16 and $4 to $6.50 within a day and whilst doing so completely change your food. If you’re not going to be consistent in the price please at least be consistent in the food. What I had today was completely unrecognizable from my other recent experiences here. I’m sad to say but today was my last trip to the place I used to call the best taco joint in all of sonoma county. I wish I had photos of all my other experiences here along side today’s experience but unfortunately I do not. Please please please bring back your “old” way.

Must try!!! I got delivery asada quesadilla, qouesabirrias and ceviche. That quesadilla was absolutely the best I’ve ever had the flavor the meat!! I’ve tried a lot of places in Sonoma and Marin but hands down this was the best I couldn’t shut up for 15 minutes about how good it was!! The birria was very good too and the price great!!! Last but anything but the least was the ceviche it was fresh good flavor and the mango tasted lovely with the fish!! Im going to have to stop by tomorrow too!!

Just went here earlier today. The other reviews saying they’ve changed are completely correct. I also used to love this place and out of nowhere they raised their prices extremely high (not just a dollar or two) and the quality of their food went down. Its just not like how it used to be. I will not be coming back.

The pork tacos are the best and if you like cheese then order pork quesadillas. Super love this new restaurant in Penngrove less than a block from my apartment

I never leave reviews. But after eating a burrito here. I had to shout out loud on how good this was. I’ve lived in SF for the past 20 or so years and IMO, they have the best burritos going. And I’ve been looking for a great burrito spot in Sonoma County and my god I found it. Best burrito hands down that I’ve had since I moved up here 4 years ago! Nice work team!! You gained a customer for life.

The food here is STELLAR. We got the Birria burrito, the Birria bowl, and the chips with guac and salsa. Loved everything. The chips were super crispy, the guac was perfect. The bowl had the perfect ratio of meat to rice and beans. I would have enjoyed more of the slaw, but that’s just me being nit-picky. We will be back, I can’t wait to try the other menu items ♡

This place has awesome Mexican food, burgers and fries! You can sit in the pub next door, order there and have an ice cold beer while you wait. You might even catch a great band on stage.

I got multiple tacos to go so I could try them out, and thought they were all quite good. The cauliflower one was great, and the caritas was really tasty.
I also got the chips and salsa to split with a coworker, and enjoyed both types of salsa. The chips were also nice and crunchy.
Overall a good experience, and I would order from them again.
