Place was clean, people were very nice. I hadn’t been there before in Visalia’s restaurant but have eaten it before. I wanted to try the Burnt Ends and they didn’t have any ready or at all I guess. So we went with the 2 kinds of chicken, potato salad, and a piece of toast and 2 drinks. It’s a little pricey and you don’t get a lot of food for your buck, and the potato salad was sweet not liking it that much. The sweet tea wasn’t sweet…so she had to fix it. But it tasted good the second time around. So not sure if will be back or not. We got some gift cards so we decided to use them.

Let’s start off with the bread it just tastes like 7 Eleven hot dog bread. The macaroni and cheese taste so store bought that I’m pretty sure I can go to the store and pick one randomly and it will probably taste like it. The fries are actually so good that I was kind of shocked considering the rest of the things I was eating. And finally i got the burnt ends and I personally despise barbecue sauce so I did not get it the meat should be good enough to eat on its own right?. So i have never had Dickies and they are In every town.
So what directed me that way was I bought a fundraiser card from Mt Whitney Football from my niece who is a senior there.
I like to support our youth and all they feel directed to.
So I had a pulled pork sandwich work spicy bbq sauce with pickles, cheese, and onions. I had baked beans and cabbage slaw and it was yummy!!
It pays off to advertise and support your locals, if it wasn’t for the participation on the fundraiser I would of never been here.
Now I will return regularly.

Delicious. Great staff. Helpful and answered all my questions about their methods of cooking such delicious food. I recommend this place for catering and for lunch time too. Great daily deals and the price is perfect.

I went here for the first time yesterday and everything tasted delicious! I got the three meats combo with turkey, brisket and sausage and their spicy sauce was one of the best spicy bbq sauce I’ve tasted! The staff is curteous and the restroom was spotless! I highly recommend it for people looking for a quick bite and fast service when walking along downtown Visalia.

Great location but small, compact dining area in historic district. Food was good BUT of all the Dickey’s we’ve been to (including their original restaurants in Texas) the portions served here are extremely small! Very disappointed in this location. Maybe it’s because we went during a holiday (July 4th)? They were really busy & had limited amount of food? Whatever the reason it’ll be a long while before I return and pay approx. $20 for a 3 meat platter and only get 1 single rib and a large spoonful of chopped brisket & turkey! Normal servings we’ve had at other Dickey’s restaurants included 3-4 ribs and enough chopped/sliced BBQ meats to make 2 sandwiches. So just be aware of this, if you’re used to sharing a large platter with someone here the portions are VERY small!

What a horrible experience. I paid $25 and received cold food. The Mac n cheese was cold with the pasta stuck together. I had one bite of the pulled pork n spit it out. I noticed that even though I was the first one there, I was the last one to be served. They even refused to refund my money. I’ve had Dickies delivered at my house and it was still hot by the time it arrived. Terrible food.
