Hibachi was pretty bad. Nothing was fresh. Chicken and Veggie Hibachi taste like it had been sitting in steam warmer all day. Veggies were overcooked and flavorless. Precook Hibachi! No thanks.

It was a huge disappointment after waiting about 25 minutes for my food. I ordered ribeye steak dinner, and I got thin overly cooked beef slices. It was definitely NOT ribeye or even steak to begin with. I highly doubt they even have a hibachi grill in the kitchen. This gotta be the worst hibachi takeout place I have ever been to.

It was as good as we expected for a quick stop hibachi on our way through the state. Not super flavorful, but didn’t expect it to be amazing. It was exactly what we needed for the time. Good portions. Clean building and bathrooms. Nice workers.

Service was kind and attentive. My chicken was slightly over cooked but still delicious. I’d rather it be over cooked than under cooked.

For the price, it should be on real plates! It wasn’t what I expected at all. They forgot 1 of my veggies and added a veggie I didn’t ask for. It was very hot in the building, until halfway through the meal, when another worker came in and turned the A/C on! My first and last visit.

The food is okay; perfectly edible. I’ve had much better Japanese elsewhere, but considering it’s the only option in Roanoke Rapids, it’s probably better than driving 30 minutes away or more.
Service was good. The guys behind the counter got my food to me in good time and there were no issues, which is nice in this town where good service is sometimes hard to come by.
Get takeout, because the inside is bland with no decorations and no music playing.
