Every time I’ve gotten a breakfast burrito from here, it’s not even wrapped properly. The food is greasy & just spilling out of the tortilla. If it’s a woman making the food, learn how to roll up a damn burrito. I would not recommend this spot to ANYBODY.

My family and I LOVE this restaurant!! The service is great, with people constantly asking if we’re doing okay, and how the food is! Which, speaking of food, it’s always amazing! It has flavor, it’s always hot, and the portions are amazing!
The restaurant has a very family-friendly atmosphere, with all of the staff being friendly and welcoming!
The wait is sometimes a few minutes, especially after church, but my family and i are willing to wait for food and service like this any day.

Me and my 3 family members had dined in to eat over the weekend. Everything was good until we received our check. They had added the tip in when there was only a total of 4 of us. When I went to pay I asked what the gratuity was for. She told us that if you spend over $50 dollars the tip was already included. When I asked where is this posted in the menu she told me it wasn’t and that if I didnt like it she would just take the tip out??!!! Ive never heard of anythjng like thay before. I feel like they had just added it in because they didnt think we were going to tip (we tip very well wherever we go) this left a really bad taste in my mouth. You cant just take a tip when ever you feel like it. Its theft!!!!!!! We wont be going back here unfortunately

Review: if it was up to me I would not give this place one star but since I have to.
I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The service we received was extremely poor. Throughout our visit, the waitress consistently checked on and served other tables, but our table was completely ignored — no check-ins, no refills, and no follow-ups.
The food was extremely poor it had no flavor no nothing in it they was totally bland.
As the only white customers in the restaurant at the time, while other tables were being served attentively, it made us feel uncomfortable and concerned that we were being treated unfairly. This was a very upsetting experience, and I hope management takes this seriously to ensure that all guests are treated equally and respectfully moving forward.

Update: I want to believe they were having an off day, however service was taking extremely long, products were not cooked well; overcooked or simply not as fresh as should be.
The octopus on a molcajete del Mar was frozen dry. Not even the texture was there much less the flavor. While a molcajete del Mar seems appealing Molcajetes main appeal is for hot food, I expected something special but it was lacking seasoning,flavor and most of all freshness on octopus; it’s suppose to have oysters according to the menu but there were none. Their meats molcajete is good but this seemed more like an overpriced coktel or campechana.
The shrimp rellenos were cooked dry, maybe premade and cooked once again, the rice was hard maybe from dryness ,not completely cooked or reheated too many times. They were struggling as far as service with almost full house, but service and teamwork seems flawed. I mention these things so you can improve and put forth the effort to provide better experience for customers. I rarely go on weekend and had only been during week for brunch and they seemed to handle the crowd well earlier in the day on Saturday.
Not sure what’s going on but sure hope they’re able to iron the details and be able to handle the crowds much better.
Old review: This place is great value, delicious, their service has always been good and gotten better. While I’ve tried various items from carne asada tacos, to Costello, to fajitas lately at least the last 2 times I had their tacos de barbacoa.
I was about to order a molcajete which seem to be new items on the menu however I recalled the tacos were to die for and wanted to confirm if they’re spectacular or they had a fluke.
The tacos ended tasting better than I recall.
They are so soft and juicy without drowning and sogging the tortilla to point it breaks. The only weakness is the tortilla however since they heat them up properly its a split second I get a whiff of scent they give off. If not heated properly I could not eat type of tortillas. The calamari was pretty good but not as tasty as previous time. This may have been prebatterred or store bought but still delicious.
The barbacoa dish you can get 3 tacos beans and rice or 4 tacos and no beans no rice. Since I had the calamari I opted for the 4 tacos.
Those tacos were AMAZING!

There is one person at this location that consistently has the worst attitude.
I rarely provide feedback, but I thought this one was worth mentioning. I called in an order, and this person in her most rudest tone as always took my order, then abruptly yelled at me “one minute”, then I heard her flush the toilet, wash her hands – took a while to come back on the line, then when she did – yelled “go ahead”. It was unbelievable what I just heard!!
The only thing semi-decent at this location is their food, but the service from this one particular person is horrendous.
