First meal in town did not disappoint. The crabby fries are to die for. Krista was an awesome server, very attentive and helpful about local information. We will definitely be back.

We were pleasantly surprised at what a good lunch we had. Bradford was our server and he was very friendly and attentive. The fried chicken, sides, and crabby fries were all delicious and homemade. We would definitely return and try some other options especially during the summer months when it is nicer. The place is nothing fancy, but then again prices very reasonable and not over inflated. Good sweet tea and he made a fresh pot of coffee for us which we appreciated.

It was quite busy and easy to see they were overwhelmed. The waitress was very nice and apologetic about this so I would not hold it against them.

However, the food was just not very good which I will hold against them. The crab cake had way too much mayonnaise and did not maintain its structure. The Mac and Cheese and Mashed potatoes was not very good, they tasted like a store microwave version. The Mac and cheese had too much grease or butter, could not tell which. The chicken was bland and very greasy. Flounder was ok.

There was also like a million flys running around the whole time.

Water’s Edge Cafe is a great place to eat lunch or dinner. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. Mary&Dan go out of their way to ensure a great meal. Having the owners on site even making and serving the food is a plus. Give it a try.

We stopped in to this cute cafe by the pier. We are online looking for a lite snack and decided on the crab balls (6). They were delicious. This is on our list to return again when we are hungry. And they also have a 1950s style ice cream shop that serves 31 flavors of Hersheys ice cream. Very cute and I loved they use young people as employees.

Amazing waitstaff and friendly customers. We started with wet cornbread which is a childhood favorite of mine. Then crabby fries, cheese crab dip on top of boardwalk fries. Main dishes were both dinner specials. Stuffed flounder and CrabCakes dinner both with two sides. They offered many side dish options. It was nice to see their lunch and dinner specials posted on their Facebook. We didn’t leave room for dessert. Wish we would’ve taken dessert to go.

Stopped for ice-cream. There was a couple with children ahead of us and another lady. There were two gals dipping ice-cream. After the above people were served the gals just disappeared. I had to go find someone to get us ice-cream.
Also what kind of ice-cream shop doesn’t have hot fudge?

Food is mediocre..no accountability for the mistakes they consistently have made! This last time they tried to charge me extra for their mistake! Yuck. Happened 3 times now. Never again !
