I got rope-a-doped. I should have read the other reviews and realized this was a Denny’s. Same low-tier food with all the terrible service, but more expensive.
Ghost kitchens should be illegal as it’s purely false advertising.

It’s a Denny’s. It took about 45 minutes for them to make 1 sandwich!!! It said it would be ready at 11:03, the order status tracker said “ready” so I drove there and arrived at 11:05. I go in and waited in the store for 35 minutes.

For those saying this is Denny’s, so just order from them: Yes, it’s Denny’s but ordering from Denny’s is not the same. These sandwiches are not on the Denny’s menu. With that being said, they’re overpriced, not very tasty,, can’t get your order right, and slow. My delivery driver was waiting there for 45 minutes last night….for 2 sandwiches. When I finally received them, sure enough both orders were wrong. They came with fries instead of the onion rings I ordered. As far as the sandwiches, I got both as the Hot Mess Melt, which is beef, caramelized onions, and white cheddar. Both sandwiches had barely any cheese or beef, but had a ridiculous amount of caramelized onions. Combine that with our missing union rings and I have the worst $40 I’ve ever spent in my life.
This is my second time ordering from The Meltdown and the first time was just as bad of an experience. I will not be making the same mistake a third time.

Terrible food, it’s essentially just denny’s, because it’s inside of a denny’s and cooked in a denny’s kitchen. The inside of this denny’s looks like it’s where happiness go to die.

We ordered take out from The Meltdown.
Our Order: (all combos) The Giddy Up, The Bacon Me Crazy, The Hittin’ Snooze, The Feeling Groovy, and The Treat Yourself dessert sandwich.
The Good: The fries were excellent as were the onion rings. The brisket burnt ends were well cooked with a beautiful pink interior and crispy, smokey exterior. Everything was tasty.
The Bad: Portions were very disappointing and not as advertised. There was literally one piece of wilted spinach on the Feelin’ Groovy. The brisket sandwich had only 4 tiny pieces of brisket. There were 5 small onion rings and maybe 10 fries in the sides. Nobody in our family felt impressed or happy with their order and if we had made melts at home, they probably would have tasted better.

I had the best sandwich I’ve ever had. I was so happy that this didn’t disappoint. Got it for lunch and was so good I’m thinking about ordering for dinner (shhhh don’t tell) I can’t speak on the service because I ordered through door dash. also I had plenty of soft succulent meat portion was more than enough.

If I could give this place no stars, I would. Truly one of the worst restaurants I have ever experienced. First off the food quality was extremely poor. Chicken was full of chewy bits and was overall inedible. Everything to do with the meal was soggy and greasy making my family feel as though we needed to bathe afterward. We purchased 3 sandwiches for $50 which I think is absurd seeing as though I could buy the ingredients for 10 sandwiches for less than that cost. On top of the poor quality of the ingredients, our order was not prepared correctly as we asked for avocado on one of the sandwiches and never received it but were still charged for it. The images on the website DO NOT match the food you will receive whatsoever. If you’re thinking of ordering from here, I would reconsider just making dinner yourself because anything would be better than this.

This is from a door dash delivery perspective. I’m new to Rochester and figured I’d try something new for breakfast this morning. I was met with pure disappointment. The “tender pork” on my sandwich was so dry and hard to chew, but the toast it was on was soaked. I also purchased an order of fries. COUNTED 13 FRIES, and they’re not very big fries people. Would absolutely not recommend

From a DoorDasher’s perspective, pretty bad experience. Usually when you get the order on your phone, it’s already being prepared, and should be ready for you by the time you get to the store to pick it up from the customer. By the time I got to Denny’s, I had to wait another half hour. The server couldn’t be bothered to check how long it would be. She did however, let me know when the order had been started, after I had waited a half hour already. Like I said, I’m usually pretty lenient with food service, but these guys weren’t even busy or understaffed.
