What an awesome hidden gem! The food, the servers, the raw oysters! Everything was top notch. We enjoyed everything. We came in for an early dinner, no current customers. We received excellent service, food was so delicious. First ordered half a dozen raw oysters, then grilled half pineapple with shrimp and Chilie Verde. All was excellent!
While we dined, so many folks came in for To-Go orders. I think the bad stormy weather had something to do with that.
We most definitely recommend this restaurant.
Side note…we are professional car haulers. We brought vintage Bentley race cars for a tour of the area. We stayed a couple of nights in the parking lot, as there is no truck stop with available parking, not enough parking for the out of town trucks. If I could request from the community…Please get more available truck parking! Us truckers bring you everything! We need more safe & secure parking. Thank you.

Had such a great lunch experience here. We had ordered take away once from here and had really enjoyed it. Came to the restaurant for lunch on Saturday afternoon and it was really fantastic. It was busy but chips and salsa came quick along with menus. Ordered margaritas with Coronas, they tasted great, not overly strong but def strong enough. Ordered a Cowboy burrito (steak) and steak fajitas. All was really good. Well seasoned. Rice was delicious. Love their salsa bar. There was great music playing, everyone was having a good time and the atmosphere felt lively. The owner was attentive to what was going on and made sure everyone was taken care of. Our waitress was a doll and checked on us just enough. The whole experience made for such a nice lunch date. My one and only critique is just from personal taste, the salsa that comes with the chips has a seasoning in it that verges on having an Italian taste to it, not my thing but I just add other salsa to it. Like I said, they have a great salsa bar.

When my regular BBQ place is closed and I need a bicycle pit stop in Franklin this is my favorite choice. I arrived a couple of minutes before they officially opened, but the staff was completely understanding and ready to server. The chips were great and I was even able to order territorial enchiladas with eggs even tho they were not on the menu. Drink refills allowed me to hydrate and “tank up” for the rest of my journey.

I love this great little place. Super authentic and delicious Mexican food. Great service and friendly staff. Once in a while, the food can be a bit salty so just let your server know if you have an issue with that.

My husband and I had the best tacos of our lives today. We tried the pastor, chicken, tongue, and suedero tacos. Not an hour later I was back buying more tongue and pastor tacos because wow. They were all very good but the pastor is something else. The tongue is actually awesome and not something I thought I would say. They’re my husbands favorite!
After years of living close by and visiting the restaurants beside it, I am embarrassed to say it’s taken so long to try this place. Get the pastor and tongue. We will be trying the others too! We only got takeout but it came with loads of toppings and salsas.
The staff were friendly and didn’t seem to judge me for coming in twice in less than an hour and getting 20+ tacos in one day, which I appreciate.
Amazing food, great price, friendly staff, and great location!

Absolutely wonderful service! So friendly, sweet, and attentive. Our food was great and at a low price compared to other restaurants in the area. Very fun atmosphere too. I highly recommend this place for your Mexican food cravings!

Great food, but the customers just park wherever and however they want. Not the restaurant’s fault but I feel like my car isn’t safe from getting dinged in this parking lot.

After reading some highly positive and some fairly negative reviews I had to try this place. The biggest turn off wasn’t necessarily the location as much as the dark tinted windows of mystery out front. It’s impossible to tell anything else from the facade so I had to try it for myself.
As one other reviewer mentioned our chips were fairly stale. But they were free and the salsa was good.
I had the fajitas which were exactly what you would expect. Really nothing to complain about, but also not mind blowingly amazing.
They do serve beer but no liquor which means no margaritas. The restaurant itself was clean and pleasant. They have lots of booths and a few long tables for large groups.
Their prices are low, the staff was welcoming and polite, but the food wasn’t anything exceptional. Overall I’m pretty middle of the road about this restaurant. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was terrific. I would go back to try something else on the menu or to try their margarita if they introduce one but wouldn’t be my first choice of Mexican restaurant.

Mexican restaurant in Franklin with really good homemade corn tortillas! The restaurant is full of lucha libre mascaras, which has a Mexican history dating back to the 1800’s and has Aztec roots.
Be sure to try their guacamole as it is made fresh!

Really enjoy the food and people here. Mexican culture, community, y comida is hard to find in Middle Tennessee. Nothing against the queso smothered “mexican” food that has dominated American taste buds, but as someone who grew up surrounded by real authentic Mexican culture, you miss certain things. I’ve—literally—only had the tacos. I love them all, but highly recommend pastor, carnitas, suadero, or costilla. I know you might want asada or pollo, but trust me. More than the food and—thank God—homemade tortillas, I really appreciate the community. Mexican culture exudes community. These wonderful people know me, welcome me and my friends/guests/family, and are true servants—meaning, they serve really well, with love and respect. I cannot speak more highly of this taqueria—it ranks up there with even some favorites in Baja and Southern California.
