My family and I visited this place expecting a great experience, but instead, we felt like we were at a rude and unpleasant dirty truck stop. The employees, especially those behind the bar, were unwelcoming, tired, slow and ignorant. The food was terrible; I couldn’t even swallow the first bite of my hamburger, which was a pink slime and overcooked grey mystery meat, despite ordering it medium rare. My son’s grilled chicken sandwich tasted like biting into a rubber foam sandal. My wife and daughter’s food was so bad that no words can accurately describe it. Do yourself a favor and spend your time and money elsewhere than Rosie’s Sports Bar & Grill. I wish I could give this place -5 stars.

If you want to go to Rosie’s, the downtown and highway 2 experience are night and day different. The downtown experience was phenomenal, for which I’ve previously wrote a review. The day we tried Rosie’s South, we joke that the “restaurant Gods” were punishing us. I couldn’t imagine being more disgusted in 2 single main courses. Not only was I shocked by the poor quality of our meals, but it was asinine anyone from the kitchen to our server, to feel this was appropriate to serve. My Philly was so burnt I couldn’t tell what was cheese, onion, peppers, or mushrooms. Initially, our corner was a bit dark, and I couldn’t tell how disgusting this looked. As I tried to muscle through it, I realized how awful and inedible it was. Our server hadn’t come back, and I couldn’t see her. The onion rings were so over cooked and greasy they were also unfinished. The French dip was incredibly unimpressive. I’ll never order food from this location again it was so awful.

Regrettably, I find myself unable to offer any positive remarks about this establishment. The bartenders displayed an appalling level of rudeness and unhelpfulness, more befitting a prison cafeteria. The food was even more dreadful; the cheesesteak arrived in a plastic basket with paper, devoid of silverware, accompanied by an excessive amount of napkins, as if I were expected to eat like a beast. The cheesesteak itself was a revolting mess of tasteless, reheated meat smothered in gooey, processed government cheese, all served on a hotdog bun. Even the ketchup was disappointing, which was the cheapest, lowest grade you could possibly find, no Heinz or Hunts products here, only Sisco‘s bottom shelf products. Overall, disgusting to say the least. Some of the other patrons only added to the overall unpleasantness. The sole redeeming quality was our server, Britney, who was exceptionally professional, friendly, and far too talented for this place. Spare yourself the misery and choose any other location, even a gas station, if you’re hungry. With deepest regrets.

We rented the Harvester banquet room for our anniversary party. We were so pleased with the service and food. Christy was so kind and easy to work with. Our family and friends loved the food. We would highly recommend having your next event there.

We had Rosie’s for our rehearsal dinner and had one of the private rooms. Everyone enjoyed the staff on hand, the food, and the atmosphere. We will book another private room in the future if we need a larger space with great food! Thank you!

We ordered a Hambuger and it tasted like meatloaf and fell apart. Corn nuggets were good and ended up being our meal! Disappointed and would not recommend!

Unfortunately I wasnt able to hang out. Just ordered the western burger to go. Seemed like a really cool place. Chicago Cubs theme which I love. Almost like being back home. Packed house. Seemed like a cool place. I will definitely stay longer the next time I’m in town… stopped in the middle of this burger to leave a review…. best burger I have had in years! Juicy and amazing flavor. I highly recommend it. I will be back!

The food was fine, however the staff was rude. The man and woman behind the bar never acknowledged us. Another waitress finally came out and took our order. I will not be back at this place of business strictly based on the two miserable personalities behind the bar. Looked like it had potential to be a fun place if there was friendlier staff.

We rented the hall for my sister’s 40th birthday party and it was great! The staff was super friendly, the food was delicious, they had had music set up you could use, with a microphone stand and everything. It was my understand they remodeled this part of the building and they did a great job! Very accommodating! Thanks for making my sister’s surprise party a huge success!
