Bingo! Finally found a good local spot that serves real Suadero, (slow cooked beef from a “comal”, the convex pot with the raised middle), made by some Taqueros, who use great fresh ingredients and are highly skilled at putting together a good taco which I’m telling you, is no small thing. I ordered three Suadero tacos and my friend ordered a sope, which is like an extra thick tortilla top with a ton of yummy stuff.
I was surprised to see that there are actually Doritos, and other potato chips that are created specifically for an audience that wants extra grease, extra salt, and extra everything. Never seen that before. Lol.
As little as I like to share local secrets, this place is a great taco spot, especially if you like real Suadero. Conveniently located on the corner of Gilman and San Pablo. They’re open about 5 or 6 days a week. I think. Highly recommended!
If you can though, avoid the heavy set young lady who works there sometimes. She has a nasty attitude, and doesn’t get orders right despite repeated asking

I check the menu in on the pictures show 11 for a quesadilla but when I pick my order the girl was rude , we order a Cubana torta and Asada quesadilla and she charged me $43.00 and when I ask for one side the salsa and one sour cream she got mad at me. Then when I tried the mear from the quesadilla was no flavor no salt, and for $20 quesadilla . But the worse was the total it was gross so big the smells very disgusting like expired cheese or something we and they don’t cut the total. Please you need update your prices from the menu on goggle

3.30.21 It is rare that I give 5 stars to any restaurant or food truck for that matter, but these guys are a gem. I’m almost torn to let the cat out of the bag because this is just too good. I have yet to explore their full menu, but I can without a doubt recommend their tortas, which are a Mexican sandwich on a torpedo-like roll with the meat of your choice, avocado and other veggies. They do not skimp and their meat options are delicious. At $10, it’s a deal! I am big fan of Al pastor (marinated pineapple pork on a spit) and they definitely nailed it here. Don’t forget to ask for their delicious spicy salsas. The red one will have you wishing you grabbed two.
4.9.20 update: Their quesabirrias are delicious (cheesy shredded beef taco w/meat broth for dipping)

WOW!!!! this place was way better when they were on their trucks, even though their customer service was terrible a least the food was good and served a little better, now their prices are up the roof and their tacos barley have any meat on them, i think $4 per taco is way excessive for it’s size, I am willing to pay $4 or even more if the tacos were well served. also their customer service is horrible, they make you feel like they are doing you a favor to eat there and it should really be the other way around. message to the owner!!!! please have all your staff take an extensive training on customer service…!!!! JUST SAYING!!!

Love it!
Carne Asada burrito was on point, comes with free chips and two different kinds of salsa, everything was very tasty, finally someone makes a burrito that is long instead of short and fat, makes it easier to eat, although nobody else was there it took them less than two minutes to make my order! I will be back!

The salsa was watery and uncomplex. My burrito was just like cheese and chunks of chicken and they were sort of low quality cheese and chicken too with a strange salt flavor. My companion said their burrito was ok so I don’t know what was wrong with mine since we ordered almost the same thing. I wonder if they ran out of beans and lettuce and tomatoes and salsa and that was why my burrito was just chicken and cheese? I was really disappointed.

Pretty good if you’re ok spending 15-20 dollars for a torta. Never in my life have I seen one priced so high, especially for street food. One could go to a sit down restaurant for less. I recommend going elsewhere due to the price but if you got deep pockets come here.
