Welcome to La Loma Grill, a family-owned restaurant with a rich tradition in the food and hospitality industry. Our story begins with Salvador, who has dedicated 42 years to the restaurant and hospitality business, and Hilda, who brings 40 years of experience in hospitality. Together, they opened the first La Loma Grill in Fordyce in 2013. Located on a picturesque hill along Highway 79, Salvador fell in love with the spot, inspiring the name La Loma, which means The Hill.

Our food was AMAZING. I asked for a veggie nacho plate and they went all out creating something robust and delicious. I really appreciated it. Also the guacamole is about the best I’ve had. It has freshly cut avocado pieces – not what I was expecting but what a delicious side dish. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for filling, delicious Mexican food in Camden.

I ordered a small guacamole to put my chips in to see how it taste a small now and then I received this one thing guacamole with my chips and it was just guac well avocado anyway and cilantro no tomato onions no even jalapeños, which I don’t mind if they didn’t put that in there, but it was cilantro and avocado smashed together and I brought it back to him and I said it’s missing the tomatoes and stuff and they told me I didn’t order the right guacamole because there’s two guacamole and then I got this one that look like chunky vegetable something. I’m not sure I took pictures so you’ll see and you tell me… and spent $81.00 for three people and some change I will likely not go back because the Mexican restaurant supposed to be able to make guacamole right and the first time and it went in and we got over charged I think

I had the Ranchero and cheese quesadillas. The Ranchero was excellent definitely one of the best I’ve ever had. The onions and peppers were actually grilled/caramelized and they had shreaded cheese on top in addition to their signature cheese dip. The cheese quesadillas were also great; the cheese was nice and gooey on the inside.
Our waitress service was great also. She was very helpful and attentive. I don’t remember her name but she said she sometimes goes by “Slim Shady” .
The overall atmosphere was relaxed and had an authentic Mexican Restaurant vibe.

Decent mexican food. I prefer this restaurant over the others. The prices are a little high but the food is good.

I asked for 1 beef and 2 chicken tacos I payed extra for sautéed veggies and a queso. I made sure the lady that took my order re read my order back to me. Once I pick my order up and make it home I see I have 3 beef tacos. After calling to speak with a manger I had to wait, the same person answered the phone told me it was nothing they could do bout my order. This isn’t the first time messing up my order.

I don’t go for the Mexican food, it’s just not my thing. But. Their Sunday breakfast is the best in town. I always get the breakfast burrito supreme… It’s wonderful and filling. Nothing fancy, about like you’d expect at IHOP, but consistent quality and value.

Went on a week night about an hour from closing and there weren’t any other people besides the staff. The food was delicious and the service was great. I hope their service during a busy day/night is just as good.

Restraunt was nice and clean, tables were clean and we were able to sit wherever we wanted. The salsa is thick and tasty, compared to other restaurants we’ve been to, same with the queso. The server was nice and attentive considering there was only about Two. The quesadillas my husband and I had were tasty and crunchy. My only complaint was all the extra stuff on the plate, pico/guacamole/etc. we asked to take that off but still got it. No worries on that though, we just didn’t eat it. This will probably be our new food spot. Definitely recommend!

Went in yesterday the servers were not friendly, I wanted my order to go, they acted like they had an attitude about that. When I placed my order the Old Lady acted like she didn’t understand me which really pissed me off, but my husband calm me down if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t have ordered a damn thing and didn’t, he did unfortunately and it was disgusting!!!! I can’t believe there still in business. I feed the it to my dog, never be back again
