Love the location! Inside the iron district you can get food/drinks from multiple vendors. Plenty of picnic benches to eat at under shaded umbrellas. In the corner of the out door area is a small stage where there occasionally performers during busier times.
The ice cream was delicious and the menu had unique items that were also delicious. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting some ice cream.

First off, if you haven’t been to the Iron District, you need to go. It’s the absolute cutest area and perfect for a group of friends.
But let’s get to the ice cream. There are SO MANY flavors to choose from and all the toppings you could want. I love that it comes with two toppings and two sauces. They have a really unique monster sandwich that cook and press right there on the spot.
The ice cream is so flavorful and cream and just chuck full of goodies. I’m pretty partial to another local ice cream shop in KC, but Melt Box might just be my new favorite

I treated my employees to a last of the summer blast featuring melt box ice cream. It was a great event to help boost morale and so that they knew how much I appreciate them all. My job had Melt Box catered in on one of the hottest days of the year so far! A lot of our employees are out in the heat with additional heat sources on the job – so keeping cool is a must! He served over 100 delicious cold treats and made the entire day awesome! Thank you for the best ice cream I’ve had in a long time.
