Then I was told they “only serve single slices after 10 PM.” If that’s true, they should just change their hours to close at 10, because customers who come in before closing should be able to order a full pizza. I ended up spending around $30 and walked out feeling unwelcome. The energy was terrible — you could practically taste the attitude in the food.
What’s frustrating is that I’ve since read other reviews saying this same thing has been happening for years, so clearly management hasn’t fixed it. People like me who work late rely on the few places that are still open, and being turned away or treated like an inconvenience is just bad business.
I hope ownership finally takes this feedback seriously, because the staff’s attitude and “slices only after 10” policy are driving away customers who actually want to support a local spot. I wonder how much money your losing out on due to your employees laziness
Girlfriend and I stopped by while watching a show at the Keller Auditorium. Both of us were starving so neither of us took all of the warning signs to avoid this place seriously.
* Homeless that smell are crowded in the lottery room.
* Terrible Service – Bartender lacks basic social skills and acted more annoyed that he had to work.
* Beer has a soapy taste
* Pizza wasn’t cooked all of the way
Both of us ended up the night with food poisoning. Trust me – we will never go back to this place.
Finally gave up on this place as a long time resident of the neighborhood.
You never know what you’ll get as far as quality. Can be anywhere in the range of pretty good to under cooked with unmelted cheese and barely cooked toppings. Big thick bready crusts are consistently unappetizing. Prices have more than doubled on by-the-slice in a few short years.
The bartenders who take the orders are consistently just… grumpy. A little rude and terse and brief unless you’re one of their regulars they get lost in conversation with (sometimes some pretty personal stuff better left out of earshot of the customers!)
Overall just not good.
