I finally tried Frank’s Grill for the first time since living in Pasadena, and stepping inside felt like a trip back in time—in the best way. It hasn’t been touched by the new era, and there’s something really comforting and welcoming about that. The food itself was decent, though not seasoned to my personal taste. For two adults and one child, our total came out to $50 before tip. Was it worth that price? Honestly, not really. But I genuinely appreciated the nostalgic vibe and the overall experience.

Its a great way to start your day. Portions are larger than expected. I always ask for hashbrowns crisp! Ordered the chicken fried steak plate and a biscuit.

Eggs were not cooked all the way and the hash browns were cold.
Service was terrific though.
I’ve heard really good things about this place from my family, so I will go one more time in the future to make sure it wasn’t a one time screw up.

Following our spiritual gathering on Sunday morning, we convened at Frank’s Grill. The cuisine was exquisite. I selected the traditional liver and onions, accompanied by fried okra and green beans, complemented by iced tea. The table was laden with an array of steaming, delectable dishes. A sense of contentment prevailed as everyone indulged in their meals, creating a tranquil ambiance. The staff exhibited utmost courtesy and remarkable efficiency. Thanks Frank’s Grill Staff. It was grand.!

First off I knew it was gonna be some issues but I said the other Franks Grill was closed at the time and always has a cool vibe to it. NOT THIS ONE this one here I walked in grab a menu then proceed to the counter where there’s two guys talking as I stand there waiting to place my order two minutes goes by finally, a waiter that walked in with me, took my order. I go back to my car for 10 minutes to wait on my order. The place looked like no workers only cooks available. Came back in workers was moving around like everyone was on break at the same time I sat down two minutes later your order is ready over here. Get home and This is what I get. Never Again. No real potatoes this something I could’ve ordered at Denny’s the hash browns was burnt. Never Again will I come here not sure how they got 4.5 star if ZERO had a star that would be by STAR ZERO ZERO ZERO

Everything was so good! My first breakfast spot I’ve gone to in Houston. I’m highly upset I didn’t get that catfish…it was INSANELY good, the breading the juiciness and heat, perfection.

this 1 star is for the owners…the food and service was great, however, i was really disappointed that i have to pay a fee to use my card to pay…why is the 3.5% credit/debit fee to accept this payment type passed on to the consumer ??? then, we are expected to tip as well 15%…and pay higher prices when thwy jack up the price…These ppl are in business, the cunsumer should not pay the fee to use our cards, thats the business’ responsibility, that just a part of being in business…this is just greed and will no longer go here…and the public should stop going as well until they stop this greed…this is like a tarrif where the cost is passed down to the consumer…and they will say, cus the fees keep rising and they cant pay them….well ur prises keep getting higher as well but u want the public to keep eating there ♂️

By far one of the best experiences I have encountered. Fantastic food, service, my glass was never empty that employees are very nice. The portions are fantastic as well, pancakes the size of the plate. I thought I had taken a picture of my pancakes as well, oh well you will have to go there and see them for your self. They are open for breakfast, and lunch
