I absolutely love this place. The food is always delicious and the calamari was perfectly fried! The mood is wonderful. Blues and Jazz plays in the backround and it’s such a nice atmosphere to be in.The vibes are just right.

$14.00 for sliced Brisket and a bread and fries were extra. The meat was not dry and full of a wonderful flavored sauce. Fries were done to perfection and seasoned well.
Sadly, you can not order via phone at this time but you can use the internet to make an order with a 3rd party to get your needs taken care of.

Waited 45 minutes for them to prepare to go order. I live 5 min from the place. Both meats were straight up cold, pork cold and dry, portions seemed bit small for 18.00. What a disappointment. Do not recommend.

SO GOOD!!! I went with my family for lunch and everything was delicious. i got the jambalaya and my family members got pulled pork and ribs, and it was all really really good! be sure to come before 5 pm though, since they’ll likely be sold out of most meats—they have a limited daily supply that cuts down on food waste. all in all it was really really good! and everyone is nice 🙂

Stopped in after trip to beach; had seen restaurant a few days before but opted fot Thai that time. Glad we tried! Both of us had brisket on the homemade cornbread and it was perfect! Meat tender and abundant, cornbread added some sweet contrast. Sauce was excellent and they served extra on the table. Also got a side of fries, which were crispy and well-seasoned. To top it off we shared a slice of key lime pie, one of our favorite desserts. Did not disappoint! Generous portion; buttery crust and tart filling,with a nice topping of whipped cream. Highly recommend.

We did takeout and took it back to our hotel. We had the beef brisket and the pulled pork, each with the grilled jalapeno corn bread. It was delicious, especially the beef brisket, which was tender, moist, virtually no fat.
We liked the food so much we had takeout from them again the next night. I really wanted to try one of the fish dishes but loved the brisket so much I ordered it again.
The atmosphere in the restaurant looked nice. Casual, but not picnic table casual. They have a nice looking full bar.
Prices were reasonable, although the price of sides ($3.50 or $3.75?) seemed a bit steep, but perhaps the portions are larger than the sides that come with the entrees?
Glad we stumbled upon this place during our aimless wandering around downtown Bath.
