Hubby and I found the best pizza and it’s here!!!! Pizza was so delish and our server, I forgot his name, but he was funny and checked on us often. Amazing cheese pull and toppings just so good!!! We even got a pizza to go for tomorrow. If you haven’t eaten here, you absolutely should!!! They have great drinks as well.

So I am a member of their rewards program and they sent a coupon for a free entree with a $20 minimum purchase, a pretty tempting deal so I took it. Ordered online easy peasy and the pick up was great with good customer service! I wish I could say the same about the food though, such a bummer! The BBQ Chicken Pizza that they are known for was small, tough crust where the toppings and sauce was sparse at best (2.4/5)! The Jambalaya pasta was full of meat, pasta was slightly overcooked but still good but the shrimp would have been better if they had removed the tails. The pasta dish was seasoned but missed the mark on flavors to be considered a jambalaya inspired dish (3.2/5). We paid around $22 before tip so we just made the best of a good deal but idk if we would try them again (the last time we went my daughter was 9 yrs old and she will be 23 in a few short weeks, definitely not as good as it once was). #pizza #jambalayapasta #cpk

This restaurant is located in the lower level of Short Pump Town Center. The food was pretty good, but expect to pay on the higher end for the food here. The service was exceptionally great. Our server, Bryar, was very patient and really nice. She explained some of the menu to us and even gave us a few recommendations when we asked her for her thoughts on the food. Even after bringing our food out, she still checked on us to see if the food was to our liking, if there was anything else we needed, etc. The atmosphere was pretty good, there was plenty of seating options and well lit. The biggest issue I had was with all the gnats that were flying around.

Good food. Wait staff was excellent. Bathroom was clean too! However we sat really close to the folks next to us, which wouldn’t have been a big deal under normal circumstances but those folks were loud to a point of us not really being able to talk ourselves. Overall a decent experience.

First time eating here and it was amazing! I was seated promptly, my server was fast, and very courteous! Our food came out promptly and hot! The atmosphere was very nice and chill! It seems to be a place you can take the family, a date, or hang out with the fellas! A definite add to my list of pizza joints!

They were really accommodating for my gluten allergy and made sure to prevent all cross contamination, including preparing and cooking it in a separate area. It was nice to not have to worry. The food was delicious and I’ll definitely be coming back!

I used to go to CPK locations around the country all the time since I’m always traveling for work. This time, I visited the Short Pump location, and the experience was terrible. The food was horrible and overpriced but considering the current situation in the country, I can understand that part.
What really shocked me was the staff’s behavior. The managers were joking and playing around with the team, while the pizza staff were on their phones! Even though they were wearing gloves, they kept touching their phone screens which is actually worse than touching a toilet. Some of them even had headphones on and were fooling around. The whole scene felt more like being in a zoo than in a restaurant.
I’ve never had this issue in any other CPK I’ve visited. To make things worse, my server, Lauren, provided very mediocre service. She didn’t even bother to ask how the food was and seemed more interested in hanging out with her coworkers. It was a slow day, yet she disappeared for long periods and only returned to ask if I wanted to sign up for the rewards program.
With that kind of service and such poor kitchen hygiene, even if I were offered free lunch for life, I would never come back to this location. Be careful you might get sick from this food!

This location makes me want to never return to a California Pizza Kitchen. As someone who has been coming to CPK for years all across the states this location specifically has put a bad taste in my mouth for the chain as a whole. The restaurant was absolutely filthy, tables not cleared and flies swarming. Bathrooms additionally were not kept clean. Service was slow. Food was mediocre at best. We ordered the avocado rolls, wontons, and a California club pizza. The club came out without avocado and the dough was so tough we were hardly able to eat it. The server only charged us for a BLT pizza as a courtesy which I found interesting since that is in fact what they gave us. For $60 I will be choosing a different restaurant and I suggest you do as well.
