How terrible. I have allergy to avocado so whilst they were making more yummy chicken I asked simply if they could please replace the avo with cucumber. Because of the wait they said come back in 10min. I came back they handed me yummy chicken with all avo still inside – I kindly reminded them I cannot have avo and they shoved the avocado out using the slices of cucumber is this how you handle food safety and cross contamination, for those who have allergies? This is what my sushi looked like when I picked it up and saw the other side (the nice side up was hiding THIS)

Food it’s always fresh and delicious for the price it is, although RECENT staff have very bad attitudes and are very unwelcoming. Would pay that little bit extra for a warm welcoming service at wara.

Clean, very friendly. Opened door for me on way in and out. Could have a few more vegan options but sure they would make up orders. Fresh food. Eat in as well, love that. Ordering is so easy. Will be regular client.

Best sushi in Mackay! (Well.. it competes with Wara sushi, always fresh & yum). I have lived in many cities in Aussie and the flavour/quality is definitely superb. Service is good and have a wide range of creative sushi 🙂 Located just in front of Woolies.

Bad customer service. Was waiting 2nd in line (only 2 of us there at the time) and when the man behind the counter had finished serving the first person, he completed ignored me and instead turned to serve an Asian woman who had walked over just as he finished serving the first customer. Won’t be back.
