It’s not often that a business, (especially food related businesses), deserves a five star rating in my opinion, but New York Bagelry does. We love their bagel, cream cheese and bagel sandwiches. They are the best we found in Pennsylvania, since moving from NYC. We highly recommend. I wish they would open a location in Lancaster, PA.

I have been going to NY bagelry since I was a kid. I always enjoy the food. However today, right now at 430pm, their grill is off. They close at 6. Why stay open until 6 if you’re not going to let people order your full menu? Sincerely disappointed. You lost out on a sale. Bought a toasted bagel for less than 3 bucks but you could’ve gotten another 10 plus from me if your grill wasn’t shut off an HOUR AND A HALF BEFORE CLOSING

Be aware!!!
I am absolutely appalled by what my wife pulled out of the bag this morning!!! What seems to be hair or part of a weave. This is fowl and speaks on the bad hygiene and simply hygienic standards of this facility, management, and staff.
What I saw when ordering was the same things others have noticed as of late. No hairnets and full disregard for hygiene. Kitchen up keep is lackluster and disgusting.
I should have known better when I had my doubts standing in line….
I’m out of words because we ate two bagels from the bag and this one was at the bottom!

I’ve seen some of these other reviews that did not have good experience here, but I will tell you as a bit of a self proclaimed bagel critic, these things are the real deal. The bagels EXCELLENT. The service I received was crisp courteous, and timely. I can’t wait to go back.

I stopped by after a recommendation and I was not disappointed. This is a family friendly hole in the wall place. All the bagels are incredible the cream cheese has the perfect tart/sweet combo. I came back the next day and tried another item off the menu.

Several times when visiting the Kenhorst New York Bagelry in the late afternoon, the young staff members have personal conversations where they drop the F-word often. Management needs to let the staff know this is unacceptable. Customers with young children would not appreciate this. The bagels were delicious as always.

Good tasting breakfast sandwiches and love the bagels with a heap of cream cheese. Plenty of tables to sit and eat. Friendly staff. Sometimes you have to wait in line while they catch up and bang out the orders. I got my coffee right away (they pour it for you, including cream and sugar). One suggestion I have is why can’t they just pour the coffee into the cup and then allow customers to put in their own cream and sugar?got my food in five minutes and everyone who came in after us waited five minutes to order and maybe five for their food.

This place is really good. The cook really cares how you receive your food and it shows. Great blueberry coffee and the people are nice here. I highly recommend coming here for a nice meal.

Both of my bagel sandwich orders were wrong, cold and not on the correct bagel. Also took a long time to come out. Seems if the staff started focusing on the order instead of talking to their friends that came in, there might be more success.
