The salads and pizza are wonderful. The ingredients are all exceptionally fresh and high quality. We got the Cesar salad, which came with fresh anchovy, and the pineapple pizza with bacon and cilantro. All of it was excellent.

Huge fan. Very good people, food, and drinks. Don’t miss the clam pizza Fridays or the Tuscan salad. They also have a bartender’s rotating cocktail choice which is low-cost & always worth trying (their spritz’s rock, otherwise.) This is a treat for a cozy dining experience. I love their puffy but thin dough and all of the ingredients they use- especially the sausage. Great place to try!

Do not order the Caesar salad. This was $6.50??!! The description said it comes with “white anchovies and house made croutons”. There was ONE anchovy and ZERO croutons.
The homemade dressing was good (and the cannoli I ordered was delicious), but who packaged this and thought it was acceptable to send out? And charge that much for what is essentially false advertising.

Cozy little Pizza joint with good beverage options and thin crust pizza’s made with fresh ingredients. Fast friendly service! One surprise: portobello mushrooms seem to be pickled! …will try white next time.

Lunch special @protospizzagunbarrel is a reasonably good deal. Caesar salad, and The Proto Pie also came with a drink and you could add on a cannoli or gelato dessert. I opted for the amazing flourless chocolate cake special. I’d like to go back and try some of the other pizzas.

My favorite spot in Gunbarrel! The service is so fast it’s almost unbelievable. They will deliver a delicious oven-fired pizza to your table every time, regardless of what you pick on the menu.

Delicious pizza and great service. The Proto Pie was such a great combination of flavors. Our waitress, Chelsea, was very knowledgeable about all the local beers on tap. It has a very lively, warm atmosphere. Definitely got busy around dinner time, so keep that in mind. Can’t wait to go back!
