I arrived last evening to pick up a vegetarian tofu and vegetables and a vegetable chow mein. The woman insisted chow mein was the vegetables and I had to pay extra for the crunchy noodles so I did. Total was &23.00.
I got home and there was brown sauce all over the bottom of the bag so I took everything out. I realized they put brown sauce on the tofu and vegetables. After being put on hold the manager said to bring it back in and she would have manager refund and was sorry. My mom’s meal of vegetable “chow mein” was a couple stalks of celery and broccoli with slices of onions and a pile of white rice.
It was all just awful.
I made a special trip to go back today with the food. I walked in and gave it to the girl who asked for my number. I explained I called last night and spoke with manager. The older gentleman said something that the other man translated and said oh you requested brown sauce and I guess thought I was there for an argument. I let them know the food was disgusting and don’t worry about the refund because o wasn’t coming back.
Also there is a pile of junk on the tables that looks like they are selling items that say(Kohl’s) on them . Sketchy at best!
Terrible food, terrible service and terrible atmosphere. Just gross

I’ve been a loyal customer for seventeen years and honestly have never been disappointed! Danielle and Frances are excellent! Multi-tasking takes on a whole new meaning with these two. Up until recently, they were the ones that would answer the phone, remember my name AND my favorite order! Incredible.
I’m not sure exactly when, but something changed. Their system is now answered by a centralized ordering process which isn’t friendly.. they don’t remember my name and they certainly don’t know my preference of orders. I actually just placed a call to their centralized ordering system to complement Danielle which didn’t go well at all. The person that answered the phone was not friendly, was not appreciative of the fact that I was calling to complement their staff.
Very unfortunate.
I also have noticed that Francis is no longer working here. I’m not sure if that maybe has something to do with the new ordering system but Danielle by herself is absolutely incredible. She’s works the front and cooks simultaneously, while maintaining a positive, smiling demeanor!
She’s a great ambassador for the business!
I hope the owners realize and appreciate the way she treats the business as if it were her own.
I’ve been in the restaurant business for 45 years and currently hold the position of executive chef at a landmark Tampa restaurant.
You certainly don’t need to have been in the restaurant business for a lifetime to realize the significance of customer service.
Hopefully the new ordering system won’t turn people away because the food is excellent and always has been for the entire time I’ve lived in the area. My recommendation is definitely try this restaurant if you haven’t and say hi to Danielle she’ll greet you with a smile.!
Just please try hard not to be put off by the way your order taken with their new system, because once you get your food, you won’t be disappointed!

We ordered pork chow mein and were given pork with vegetables and rice.
When we attempted to address this the employee on the phone said that chow mein is rice… Which it most definitely isn’t.

The broccoli in the vegetable mei fun was absolutely unwashed and inedible. It quite literally felt like sandpaper as my mom was trying to eat it.

There was hair in another dish that was given.

I am visiting from Colorado and my mom chose this location because it’s where she regularly went.
If this is their new standard, they aren’t going to last long.
Nobody needs to be eating unwashed vegetables. The risk of disease is too great.

I wanted to try somewhere new. Never again, chicken and Chinese vegetables= poached chicken, chicken gravy, half an onion sliced with sliced carrots and a few pea pods. Dry lomein. Very disappointed ☹️

Imma be real the food is great but god these people suck. I’ve seen reviews saying the delivery minimum is $40 but they’ve told me $30 randomly today even though we’ve previously ordered meals for delivery that cost no more than $15. Idk there’s Chinese places all over so it don’t really matter. They don’t care either. One time the delivery man came to our store and got into a yelling match over the phone in our work office with a coworker. It was awful.

I just gave a review about how wonderful this place is. However it seems I spoke too soon. I received tonight’s order missing an important part of the entree. I called and they said they would bring it. I really didn’t want to eat my Egg Foo Yung with out it’s gravy. It’s just veggie and egg that way. I could make that. The gravy never came. So I now have cold egg foo yung looking sad and forgotten on my kitchen counter, I can’t even go get the gravy tomorrow due to the Holiday. I will have to hold on to it and hope they will give me gravy on Friday so I can at least eat it as leftovers. I was going to make my own but I don’t have all the ingredients. I realize they are busy. I realize it was an accident but I am so disappointed. I was really looking forward to it.
My house is a 4 minute drive from the restaurant. I paid a delivery fee and a 20% tip. What good is a delivery if you have to go get part of the order after it’s delivered.
I will give them another chance but felt so put out over this I had to sort of amend my review.
