We decided to stop by for lunch after a trip to the mall. We sat on the patio which was right on the main road headed towards the beach so it was nice to see everyone coming & going & lots of dogs out 🙂 The food was DELICIOUS (lobster Mac & cheese, full rack of ribs, garlic bread, the bbq chicken tacos), the signature drinks (the lazy marg & a piña colada) were very underwhelming & expensive. The overall experience was enjoyable! Will be back again when we’re in the area.

Came here for dinner and loved it! The lobster rolls are amazing. Tons of super buttery lobster, on a homemade baguette. It’s my first lobster roll on a baguette, and it was great! Bread wasn’t too chewy so it wasn’t hard to eat and it was super warm and fresh. We also got a side baguette because we didn’t realize the lobster rolls came in them 😀 but we ended up eating most of it still. Boiled shrimp (with old bay) were salty and tasty and crab cakes were quite large! Potatoes were also well done and it was a pretty large order. They were out of some things (lemonade, bbq ribs) but since we were there for lobster rolls mostly it was all good. One of the most decadent lobster roll meals I’ve had because of the sheer amount of butter, but no complaints from me.
You order inside and then they bring it to you (or you wait if it’s to go.) They had mostly outdoor seating and it was dog friendly! Service was reasonably fast. Would definitely come again!

We went to The Lazy Lobster in Milford for lunch with the family while on vacation this summer. It’s a really nice spot with a laid-back atmosphere that fit perfectly with the beachy vibe of the area. I had the ribs, which were decent—good but not amazing. Even so, it was a pleasant place to sit down, relax, and enjoy a meal together. A solid lunch spot if you’re in Milford.

This is our families favorite local spot! The Lazy Lobster absolutely deserves five stars! It was a hot summer day and my wife and I wanted a classic New England lobster roll. So we drove down to the Milford shore , and sat down in the Lazy lobster, they have a full bar and kind of a small bistro atmosphere, cozy, the lobster rolls hit the spot, butter was on the side, so you can add as much as you want, it was amazing, so if you are dreaming about a great lobster roll , the Lazy Lobster can make your dreams come true !

Without question, the Lazy Lobster is by FAR the front runner for the Lobster Roll in CT if not all of New England. But, now… they’ve recently reopened with an AMAZING expansion including a full bar. Unreal. Two enthusiastic thumbs up. Highly recommended. Will be back.
