Today was our first time visiting this adorable local ice cream shop! They have such a great selection of flavors, it was hard to choose. We ended up with an Oreo Cheesecake in a waffle cone, the Oreo milkshake, the smores milkshake, a double scoop of cookies and cream in a regular cone, and I went for the churro ice cream nachos; super delicious!! The shop itself is super cute and welcoming, with an area full of toys, games, and coloring for the kiddos which in my opinion is such a thoughtful touch! The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or kinder. You can really feel the heart behind this family-owned business, and it makes the experience even sweeter. We will definitely be back for more soon!! ❤️

The ladies working today were incredibly nice and let us sample several flavors. The portion sizes are very generous. We got a banana split (that realistically we could have shared) and a double scoop. Prices felt reasonable especially for the sizes. I’d recommend bringing patience, they were busy this Sunday afternoon, but it was worth it.

Ice cream is very sweet, very delicious, very cold there cooler is also very sweet but very very good and warm. Very delicious. Everything we had was so cute. Not a ton of seating, but still very good. Customer service was on point. The girl im the blue shirt tonight (i didnt catch her nsme) was the nicest of them all. 12/10 would recommend. Will be back.

This place being only 4 mins from my house is dangerous!! Let me just tell you everything about this place is amazing from the variety of ice cream flavors, the sweetest employees! Being in the heart of Shepherdsville. I love everything about it! I bet my kiddos & I come 2 or 3 times a week! & always have to get a delicious milkshake to go for my husband!❤️

My wife and I just went and it was excellent! They have so many flavors to choose from with many options such as waffle cones and bowls, milk shakes! The staff was extremely friendly and very welcoming! Seems to be a family running it and they seemed to be wonderful people.

I’m very excited to have a hand-dipped, locally owned ice cream shop in Shepherdsville! I got the hot fudge brownie sundae, and it was delicious! Someone else sitting next to me had a banana split that looked so good I almost ordered one while eating my sundae. Lol. If you’re anywhere near Shepherdsville, stop what you’re doing and go to The Sweet Shoppe. The milkshakes are massive, rich, and downright ridiculous (in the best way). My friend had the banana split and it looked like a dessert trophy. Staff was super friendly, fast, and clearly love what they do.
Five stars feels low. This place is a dessert landmark.
