It was our first day in Oslo, and little did we know, we’d be spending over three lovely hours eating seafood and drinking wine by the water side. The meal was well paced, didn’t feel rushed, and time just flew by. We made reservations a few weeks prior. We had the king crab au gratin, highly recommend. The lemon dessert was very tasty. All the food was enjoyable.

Although we decided to visit this well known recommended restaurant without a reservation & it was pretty crowded, they kindly accommodated us with no waiting time.
The experience was excellent, the food selections were both interesting & delicious and was served in a very reasonable time, the open kitchen scene was also an add on to the experience.

This is a RESTAURANT where enjoying food wine service location. This is an experience. A la carte but also 3 and 5 courses menu with a super fresh and excellent quality of the food. Like a chef….I say thank you for the amazing job. U have to teach a lot to this industry.thank you.

The restaurant had various free places. I asked to be seated on a table in the sunny part of the restaurant. I was told it was all reserved. I asked for what time. The lady smiled like it is none of your business to tell me how to do my job. I said because I will not stay more than 30min. She seated me, however when I left none of the tables were taken. The weathers were very quick and would immediately notice if you need anything. The food was very delicious. The sauce was a bit strong though and I had to eat bread which I don’t normally do.

Very happy with the seafood platter. It’s got everything you’d want – they’re fresh and the sauces that went with the platter were also very good. The wine list is extensive and I took their recommendation. I thought the pairing worked perfectly. I also really appreciated that they managed to accommodate me as I had no reservation (good to book in advance if going as a group). Initially I was told that I can have the table for 45 minutes and I took it. However, I wanted to try the seafood platter and I was told that it is huge and I’d need more time to finish it and enjoy the meal. I kindly asked if they can do something about it and I was so happy that they managed to work around it and extend my stay. They also reminded me again in the middle of my meal ( as I may have seemed rushing; I was enjoying my seafood) that there is no need to stress as they’ve taken cared of it. Much appreciated!! Great service and one of the best seafood I’ve tried. Highly recommended when visiting Oslo.
