I visited this spot late at night and had a fantastic experience! The service was top-notch—fast and friendly despite the hour. As for the food, the ramen was incredible; it had the perfect kick of spice and was packed with flavor. Definitely a go-to spot for a late-night craving. Highly recommended!

I used to come to this place pretty often for their Japanese curry. Portion sizes used to be great when it first opened, but now it seems like they’re skimping out on the curry and adding a huge portion of rice to make up for it.
The only good thing about this place now is that the taste of the food seems pretty consistent. However, the katsu is usually cooked too long making it tough and dry and the egg in the ramen is always ice cold. I wouldn’t mind if the egg wasn’t super warm or piping hot, but there’s a problem when it’s ice cold.
The first photo is the portion size I used to get vs the second photo which is what I now have gotten every single time I come here eve after asking for more curry.

Some of the best ramen I’ve had! The broth is so creamy & flavourful. There is something about the broth that is a bit different from other places I’ve been. I’m not sure exactly what it is but it’s just so good. Definitely can’t wait to come back & try other things on their menu!!

Was a Great first experience. Until unfortunately, I found a pretty big piece of plastic wrap in my bowl of ramen. Nothing the waitress could do for us, but according to the cook, it was “impossible”. Ended up paying full pop for our meals. Not looking for anything crazy, but not even an offer says a lot. Menu looked great, already had future visits planned. Unfortunately, those will be cancelled.

I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, but it wasn’t my cup of tea. The staff are very nice and good at what they do. Food was tasty with a very good selection of Ramen toppings. Very good for what they offer. I’m just a picky eater.

I wanted to eat spicy food, but it was on the menu. I went alone, but it wasn’t time for a meal, so I could eat it comfortably. It would be pretty spicy if the Japanese ordered spicy ramen, but if you were a Korean, you know how it would feel to eat it here. It’s like getting rid of something greasy! I’ll have to eat it again.

Came around 7pm and we were able to snag the high table with stools near the entrance. The interior is extremely small and intimate seating if not in a booth. The traffic was constant, it stayed busy the whole time we were there. I appreciated the cucumber lemon infused water, just wish it was colder, I don’t do ice in my drinks and this was too warm for even me. My son ordered one of their bottled beverages, had a cream soda taste and was very small for the $4.50 price and difficult to drink out of as there is a clear glass marble that jingles around and gets in the way. We asked for a glass to pour it in. We got spring rolls, the black garlic and beef filet, and a spicy beef ramen. I liked the egg it came with but for someone who has eaten many a ramen, it was just okay. It lacked spices and bold flavours, even my son mentioned this about the spicy beef. And I’m missing all the extra things like naruto, more veggies, etc it was just noodles and beef with half an egg. The crispy garlic and spicy salt on the tables was a nice addition. The veggie spring rolls were frozen and forgettable. Overall it was just decent. My son and I decided on the 3 star rating, he also pointed out it was a bit pricey for the small bowl portions and just okay broth. This meal was $45-$50.

I’ve been coming since they opened and I have noticed a downward trend in the quality of the food, particularly the broth. I think they may just be overwhelmed and overworked which I understand, it’s just a shame that a bowl of ramen costs anywhere from $18-$22 and one can genuinely notice a decline in the quality and care of the integrity of the food.

The wait and anticipation is finally over, Windsor finally has a Ajisen Ramen. Took my family there for lunch. It was busy but we got seated right away. Staff was nice and helpful with our orders. The was food was served pretty quickly considering it was a packed restaurant. The apps are amazing, steak, tempora and gyozas! The ramen was was delicious, we tried both the pork and spicy beef. Must try and highly recommend. Great addition to the south windsor area.

We came across this place on a Sunday afternoon. Food was great, but they had run out of the shrimp with rice!. Service was good, although they gave us a Miso Soup that we didn’t ask for and we had to ask for some side plates to eat the Spring Rolls. Even so, it was an enjoyable lunch.
