Service is very hospitable every time I have been here.
This historic underground speakeasy saloon is a great piece of historic value! This is from the Prohibition Era. If you haven’t been here before then, you should try it out for sure!
They have old-fashioned drinks available and a full bar to get your go-to favorites.
The only downside is that the speakeasy is only open from 7p to 10p. It is probably due to the lack of people that do come in on a regular basis. They do cater to event parties.
Besides the drinks, you can order chips and salsa and a huge pretzel with their homemade beer cheese for dipping. Yum.

Oh WOW, what can I say that others haven’t already said. The decor is extravagant with lots of antique furnishings to make this old motel feel like you are taken back in time. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. The beds are very soft and comfortable. Chris, the owner, is very knowledgeable of the history of the motel and tell you many stories of the past residents of the motel and bank. This is a great place to visit and or have a gathering for receptions, reunions and other parties. The underground saloon is unique in its own way and the path getting there will make you are in the past. I would recommend anyone to go out of your way to visit this motel.

A really cool place to stop for a drink. I’m coming back again and getting a hotel room next time so I can introduce this place to friends and take the underground tour.

This is a nice place to relax and enjoy a drink. Suggest is make an appointment to tour the underground shops and after you’re done come down to the bar and enjoy a drink you’ve never tried before.

This place is really cool! The drinks are distinct and are priced cheaper than what you can get in Wichita. My husband and I had 5 drinks between us and a snack mix and with tip $40. All the drinks were good. The ambiance is unique and historical. Definitely one of a kind and worth checking out

Coolest speakeasy in western Kansas. May well be the ONLY OG speakeasy in Kansas! Take your friends and visit. You will be glad you did!

This hotel is one of my absolute favorite places to stay now and I AM SURE WE WILL BE BACK! The history is fantastic, the rooms are beautiful and the owners are excited to show you around and are continuously improving on an already wonderful property. Plus if you are interested in the paranormal it’s suppose to be haunted! We didn’t encounter any ghosts but loved it anyway. Can’t wait to go back!!!

What an absolutely beautiful and historical place. The food was phenomenal and if you go away hungry it’s your own fault. The chicken fried steak was so tender you could cut it with your fork. The mashed potatoes and gravy…..well, amazing. Homemade bread and butter literally melt in our mouth. And then dessert….. make sure you take time to stop in and see what Chris has preserved and made new again. You will not regret it!!!!
