We stayed nearby for an event and after our long day of travel, we wanted to find a bar with good food and better drinks. After scouring reviews of the area pubs we decided on Bulldog Saloon for atmosphere and menu. Neither disappointed. From the outside, it looks like a legit dive bar or maybe even a strip club. Upon entry, the horseshoe wooden bar and generous booths set an inviting and cozy vibe. We opted for the generously sized bar stools that hug your curves and lure you into the scene. Instantly we were put at ease when the bartender, Megan, took our order. She was friendly, responsive and played along with our non-sensensical fun. The yummy fish-n-chips came out of their immaculate kitchen and totally hit the spot. Cold drinks. Hot food. Good service and even better times.

Very clean and well lit bar. Friendly bartender. Kitchen appears clean. Good craft beer selection. Fish and chips were amazing but a little slow to come out. A few pull tabs to choose from. Way less divey than it appears from the outside.

I love coming here. The staff are all very cool and the vibe is perfect. It’s got a TouchTunes internet jukebox, plenty of TVs with different angles to watch the game, and spectacular menu options with plentiful portion sizes at a fairly reasonable price! The beer and cider variety is also awesome. That huckleberry cider is just fantastic!!
My biggest wish is that the place is able to open up the upstairs area again. Would be a lot more inclined to hang out and drink longer if there were more activities and fun to be had.

Pleasantly surprised by our visit here for a Hawks game. 32 beers on tap, about half of which are local. Food is basically massive portions of “nice bar food” if that’s a thing (fried chicken on salad, burgers, basic tacos, etc). Service is nice, very attentive. Tons of TVs with easy viewing of the game. Lots of seating and it was wide open during our last visit so no problem finding a seat. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

I love this place! The owners, the manager, the bartenders all amazing and do a great Job at making you feel welcome. They have an upstairs and downstairs and more tv’s then you can count. The rotating tap list is always a great selection and the food is also great. Not your normal “bar food”. The lighting and atmosphere is inviting and friendly. I know it kind of looks dark on the outside but it is a diamond in the rough. If your in the area or go to edmonds community college, or need a place to watch sports and laugh this is your spot!

Three stars being generous. After reading the great reviews we were excited to go. Upon entering the bar is clean and on the small side. We sat at the bar and was not acknowledged for 5 minutes. When she did greet us she didn’t smile or say hello simply asked what we were drinking. After seeing a picture of what their Bloody Mary’s looked like I ordered one. The heavily garnished one I saw in the pictures never came. She asked me if I wanted salt. I said yes and she grabbed a salt shaker from a table. What I received was a vodka and tomato juice with a lime enough said. She never offered us a menu, we had to ask. Let’s move on to the food. I ordered the prime rib dip which was a huge bun…I am talking the top alone 2 inches. The inside consisted mostly of sautéed onions and barely any beef. The filling was about as thick as a regular McDonald’s hamburger if you get what I’m saying. The Rueben was tasty but again hardly any meat. I’d like to know where all those great pictures and reviews came from because we certainly didn’t experience it. In conclusion this was an epic fail.

First time visiting this local pub and we were glad we did. Clean atmosphere with plenty of boothes and tables. Great selection of beers on tap. TV screens everywhere and good acoustics.
There is an upstairs section which also has a bar, pool tables and arcade games, but that section is only open Friday and Saturday’s.
We both ordered burgers and they did not disappoint. I had the Western Burger with bacon, onion rings, cheese, and BBQ sauce and he had the Bulldog Burger which is a half lb Kobe beef patty. Check out the crispy cheesy edges on his burger in picture #2!
So why the 4 star rating you ask? Boxed wine! Yup! They have two reds and 2 whites and they are all Black Box wines. Booo! I think they said they sell wine in a bottle but you have to buy the bottle? Not sure.
They have daily specials as well. Attached a photo of their daily specials.
