Kaza Urban Dining is a very cute intimate spot in Jersey that I was surprised to find. I loved the intimate setting and atmosphere. The food is okay, but the drinks were really tasty. I would honestly recommend this place more for the drinks.
My party tried a few of the cocktails, and we were so impressed with the nice presentation. In regard to the food, maybe it was just an off night and our selection wasn’t our favorite. I think it would be appropriate to give it a second chance to really review the food.
Overall, I loved the intimate layout, the drinks, and our waiter was just so nice and helpful. If I’m ever in this area, I could see myself coming back.

We started with the fried calamari and tequeños as appetizers. While the tequeños were good, they weren’t warm enough, if they were hotter there would have been a nice cheese pull would have made them perfect. They reminded me of mozzarella sticks but with a sweeter coating. The fried calamari was perfect, and the house aioli that they were served with was delicious.
For entrees, I had the Risotto 4 Cheese with Churrasco, and my fiancé had the half roasted chicken with cassava truffle Parmesan fries. The cassava truffle Parmesan fries were interesting, I’ve never had anything like them, and it pleasantly surprised me. It was really good! The entrees are truly where this restaurant shines.
The entree menu is not extensive, but they definitely have perfected what customers have to choose from, because what l’ve tried is absolutely DELICIOUS.
For drinks, I ordered the Golden Boy cocktail, which is reminiscent of a margarita. While the presentation was stunning, and the drink tasted good, it was not anything special. I think that there is room for improvement in terms of flavor complexity and uniqueness in the drinks. Also, I only ordered this one drink, so this review does not represent the whole drink menu, I will definitely be back to try more and I will update my ratings and review!
The restaurant’s atmosphere is beautiful. The dim lighting and modern and antique decor create a cozy yet upscale vibe. The service was fantastic! Our waitress, Amber, was attentive and proactive. For example, when I struggled to cut my steak, she immediately brought me a steak knife without needing to be asked. And the other waitresses on shift were also very helpful too, clearing plates promptly and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed.
Service is great, the waitstaff is very attentive. My fiancé actually forgot his card and the restaurant called us to notify us within 10 minutes of us leaving, thankfully I booked the reservation online where they had my number to call us! Overall, Kaza serves delicious food, has great service, and is a beautiful dining environment.

10’s 10’s 10’s across the board! My friends and I had an amazing experience here last night celebrating a birthday. The drinks were creatively beautiful to look at, but also tasted good…and made strong! Because we shared food, I was able to taste multiple dishes and each was wonderful. Praise God for a restaurant that uses seasoning!!! Plus, all the meats were juicy. No exaggeration, the food was so good, I seriously asked the table (in reference to the kitchen), “who’s back there?” Our waitress, who gave wonderful service by the way, told us it actually was her dad in the kitchen and brought him out to say hello to the table. Beautiful atmosphere. Positive vibes. Reasonable prices!!! Highly recommended!

A great spot if you’re looking for something fancy and sophisticated! We came for Valentines Day and they gifted us a rose and a card! It was a sweet gesture. The cocktails are the stars of the show here, they’re fun and different. I had the salmon and it was delicious. The chicken was a bit too citrusy but not terrible. I wish there were more entree options but overall I had a great time!

I visited Kaza on Saturday, and it was the perfect spot for a romantic dinner. The octopus and steak were absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff making us feel special. The drinks are unique and fun to order. I ordered 2 drinks an espresso martini and the magic mushroom. The magic mushroom tastes like orange soda with a kick. The waitress and assisting staff were pleasant. I would recommend and go again.

Can I give 6 stars? This place was like finding a bottle of water on the dessert. The attention to detail from the decoration to the food is fantastic. All the employees were extremely kind and resourceful. The drinks are and taste like a work of art. The food was exquisite. We were a group of 8, and we tried plenty of dishes on the menu. I highly recommend the octopus and the fillet branzino, but to be honestly every single dish was fantastic. If having the churrasco order it medium-rare, as the medium-well is a bit too dry for my taste. For drinking, I recommend the sweet bath and the Kaza Passion Fruit. Absolutely divine and we will definetly visit again.
