Great place! Very friendly, colorful, authentic. Went on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch and ordered the hot roast beef poboy. Food was served to me hot and it was delicious. Staff was extra friendly and atmosphere felt authentic with LSU all over the place. WWOZ was playing in the background. Whether you’re a regular or tourist i strongly recommend

I recently had the pleasure of trying the Shrimp Po’ Boy at Mike Serio’s Po’ Boys in New Orleans, and I must say it was absolutely delicious! The sandwich was packed with perfectly cooked shrimp that were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The bread was fresh and had a nice crunch to it, complementing the shrimp perfectly.

The sandwich was generously filled with shrimp and topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles, which added a refreshing and tangy flavor to each bite. The remoulade sauce that was spread on the bread was the perfect accompaniment, adding a creamy and slightly spicy element to the overall taste.

The portion size of the Shrimp Po’ Boy was also very satisfying. It was big enough to fill me up, but not overwhelming. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and the flavors were well-balanced.

The service at Mike Serious Po’ Boys was friendly and efficient. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and made helpful recommendations. The restaurant had a casual and welcoming atmosphere, making it a great spot to enjoy a classic New Orleans po’ boy.

Overall, I highly recommend trying the Shrimp Po’ Boy at Mike Serious Po’ Boys. It’s a true taste of New Orleans and will leave you craving for more. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this is a must-try sandwich that won’t disappoint.

I got the fried shrimp Po’boy. It was a nice portion, the bread and dressing were fresh, but the shrimp was fried in burned old grease and that’s all I could taste. The sandwich was $20. It’s not really a cheap sandwich, but it tasted like fast food because of the fryer grease. Shame.

Recommended by a 30 years of living here local..get the Muffaletta!!

I hadn’t ever had one, let alone heard of one. Thinly sliced meat, melted cheese and the most wonderful olive spread on smokin’ hot Italian bread.

If I had more room in me, I’d have had two. Absolutely fantastic sandwich. I’ll be back again for lunch!

I MISS THIS PLACE SO MUCH! This was my favorite place we ate at while on vacation. Everyone working there was so friendly and the food was delicious!! Get the oyster poboy with all the fixins! I’ve talked to so many people about this restaurant and wish I could just run there during my lunch break every day! If you skip eating here, you’re missing out!

Mike’s Po-Boys is part of the classic New Orleans experience — good food with an even better experience. The made-to-order sandwiches and hand battered onion rings pair perfectly to make an excellent lunch, all for less than $20. If you’re ever near the French Quarter, head on over to Mike Serio’s!

They have the best Poboys in town! And Derick was super friendly and helped us figure out parking. We will definitely be back.

The roast beef po boy is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten in my life. Anywhere. In the world. It is that good.

I hardly ever give five stars, but I can’t see giving anything less in this case. Even the fries were fresh and excellent.

I now consider this a not to be missed casual meal restaurant in New Orleans.

We’ve been to New Orleans several times and have always wanted to stop in here, but never had the luck because they were always closed. They have very limited hours of 11am-3pm Monday – Saturday. However this time we made specific plans to get here as soon as they opened and were glad we did. This place never looks busy, but don’t let looks fool you because their service is great and they make some really good poboys. Definitely worth trying.

We’ll skip this one next time we visit. The food as mediocre and a bit slow. The shrimp po boy was very salty and the Ruben was just ok. The place was empty at noon on a Friday when we arrived, so I guess we should have expected to be underwhelmed. I suggest finding a different place to eat.
