Papa John’s Pizza – Curry Ford Rd, Orlando
I went with very high expectations, as this was only my second day in the USA.
I had an excellent experience at a Papa John’s in Louisville before, so I expected the same quality here.
I was helped by a young woman who was polite and friendly. I left a $5 tip, respecting American culture. I ordered an 18-inch pepperoni pizza and asked her to be generous with the pepperoni, since it was new for me. I also agreed to pay extra for additional pepperoni, which cost $5.60.
She went to the kitchen and spoke to the staff. One of the pizza makers didn’t seem very happy and said something I couldn’t fully understand, but it felt like a complaint.
About 10 minutes later, the employee who took my order left the store on a bicycle. Soon after, two other employees came out, one of them seemed to be the manager, and the other was the cashier. One of them handed me the pizza.
When I got home and opened the box, I was very disappointed. The pizza did not have the extra pepperoni I paid for and was very different from what I expected. I also found the pizza quite dry.
Unfortunately, this experience was far below my expectations, especially compared to my previous experience with the brand.

My mother and me got sick on Feb 23, 2026’s large pizza. We both sick, nausea, cold sweating and low tension. The pizza I ordered but caused us extremely sick. Keep away for a while for your safety. I don’t know the causes, maybe gluten or outdated ingredients but I ordered Philly Steak Large pizza then we got extreme sick.

I called to place an order; the order was supposed to be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived, there was a long line… I waited for more than 50 minutes. When I asked about my order, they said they didn’t have any order under my name, and that I must have called the corporate number. I called in front of her, and she answered the phone herself, telling the manager that she wasn’t the one who took the order. Terrible service. She answers the phone, takes orders, and then makes pizza without washing her hands. And then the manager told me to leave without giving me back the $47 I paid over the phone.

Their pizza is horrible! I love Papa John’s. But the pizza here is just horrible!! I don’t know if the guy making the pizza doesn’t shower, but twice he has made a disgusting pie. I have ordered it and picked it up (so I know it was him)

03/30/2024 Horrible service. I got the wrong pizza for my toddler and called to ask for the correct pizza, and they kept saying they can’t find my order, like if I was lying. Then they found it and told me my replacement should be delivered in the next 30–40 minutes, and in an hour and a half, nobody delivered my pizza. kept calling, and they told me the store is packed, and if I don’t get it in the next 10-15 minutes, then they would have to give me maybe a refund. I don’t want a refund; I want the correct pizza for my toddler. I talked to different employees. One of the employees I talked to was Alberto. At 9:05 p.m., almost 2 hours after I talked to Alberto, and no pizza has been delivered. I just talked to Richard at 9:25pm and he said my order was stolen by a DoorDash driver that they will try again now. They said it should be here before 10:30pm. I will wait till 11 p.m. if my order isn’t here by then, then I will go around 11 p.m. because that’s the time I get off work. I will go with everything to get a refund. I place orders at this location weekly, and now I will no longer do so. Unprofessional and liars.

Came to pick up a to-go order and the workers were arguing with each other, clearly drunk, and so high that their eyes were bloodshot red!! No help whatsoever at the cash register. When my order was FINALLY ready it was set down but not handed to me, making me get it myself off the shelf. As I am leaving I hear them talking about me saying I HAD attitude. KEEP IN MIND I SAID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AS THERE WAS NO HELP GIVEN. If you’re going to talk bad about your customers, the least you could do is wait until they leave the store.

A pizza with undercooked crust and very sad looking wings- one in a bowl of grease and another burned. Just look and see by yourself. Tasted like nothing. The only tasty thing was their banana pepper. Sad.

i’ve never had any bad experiences with papa john’s until today. this location is absolutely terrible! i placed an order for delivery and my food was cold!! i had to reheat it in the oven and on top of that they messed up my order as well. I didn’t even get what i ordered, they just threw whatever on the pizza and didn’t care to check to see if it was made right. please save your money, or go to a better location. they need a new manager or new staff .. SMH! extremely disappointed with the service i’ve received today.
