Such a cool spot to go to with friends at night and the food is the best jjajjangmyun we’ve ever had. My husband and I will be making this our new regular spot!!

THE FRIED DUMPLINGS AND TANGSOOYOOK GOT BETTER!!
Must come try it. The grandpa working here is really sweet and makes the food personally if you come later at night ♥️ it’s like eating my grandparents cooking and it’s so good~

Pretty darn good. No tips or taxes charged for $12 Jjam Ppong, which is opening sale (orig $14). A bit thick & hot+ soup but that’s more of preference thing. Quite of variety of sea food added but it’s been in there for a bit.
A trend of self service appears to be taking shape. Gukbap & Sambap just opened up near by with same concept. No tip.
After the sale, I will likely take $10 special at Hongbanjang for lunch special, but for now it’s good alternative. Free coffee & ice cream for now will be hit with kids (just don’t give too spicy Jjamppong).
Second visit: Asked for less spice & came out much much better. Also had Tangsuyuk, this was not as impressive. A bit dry.

I requested for no shrimp as we have allergies, they do allow and encourage guests to let them know of any allergies. While eating out food we found a shrimp in our soup. This should have NEVER happened.
I alerted the employee and the employee just apologized and didn’t do anything else for the situation. I had to rush us to a pharmacy at 10pm cause we were experiencing reactions. They didn’t offer refunds, any replacement food, not even offered allergy medicine. As a food business this was handled horribly. I don’t recommend anyone to come here if you value your life, cause they won’t.

Don’t listen to the nitpicky losers. I’m Korean and I’ve tried tons of jjampong and this was absolutely delicious. Self service made the prices cheap (no tip) and comfortable. Offers unlimited water without a wait, and free coffe. Open late and workers are super kind.
