Ok so this was my first time dining at this restaurant. The waiter was great the place was nice in and out. The problem was with the food. We ordered a Cesar Salad with grilled chicken and cheese burger. The chicken on the salad was undercooked with raw ppieces. The burger was so under cooked there was pool of red blood on my plate. The manager came to the table and did offer to remake it however we declined with the fact that bother entrees had problems. We paid for our drinks and left. I was the manger I wouldn’t have even charged for the drinks giving the circumstances. The waiter and the drinks were very good.

Robinson was a nice place to have an evening diner. The Only thing is that The service was slow and we couldn’t eat outdoors on one side even though both sides had seats and were open. Service was slow but the food was good & presented well. Everything in the photos tasted good. Beach and boardwalk was right across the street. I’ll give it a 8.

Sunday fun day? came here because we were starving after walking around town. Ordered a specific pizza, which was the Hawaiian, but asked for half without pineapples, had to send it back twice, and the order was still screwed up. Ended up having half the pie plain. They brought the manager out and took care of the charge for the pie. Overall, decent food. Parking is metered and busy on the weekends. Will I return? Maybe

My family and I went here for dinner after driving 6.5 hours to get to our hotel. The food was delicious!! I had the ribeye. The others I was with had the swordfish, oysters, the flat breads, and the truffle french fries. The service was excellent and at the perfect speed. The atmosphere had a more laid-back feel but was still higher quality. I’d definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner date or for a more fine/casual dining experience.

Just get wings from here, just chicken wings, and maybe the deviled eggs. Other items are just meh!
We picked Robinson Ale for dinner after our day long trip at Long Branch beach. It’s merely couple of minutes walk from the sand. The restaurant/bar is very nice, with modern look. The menu looks really versed too.
But when it comes to food, its a let down. My risotto was just wet rice, never had that kind of risotto before. Scallops were just okay. Tried steak from my friend’s plate, had to give up halfway chewing it.
Only saving grace was the wings. They were super tasty. Hence an extra star for the review.
We also did take out from here from lunch. I got the burger and deviled eggs. Eggs were good. Burger was very basic. The paddy could have been smaller to fit better with rest of the ingredients.
The service is nice at the restaurant. We had issue with steak and the manager replaced it with new plate and compensated us in the final bill. But it wasn’t enough to overlook some of the poor dishes we had.

I got a gluten-free burger with a gluten-free bun, which fell apart and it was very dry. I got sweet potato fries which was good. The inside is pretty nice and it had outdoor seating in the summer. The service was pretty good except I got a gluten-free burger, but I received a burger with a gluten bun. Thankfully, I asked to make sure it was because it did not look like one, but if you are gluten-free and you don’t know better then there’s a problem.

Had an amazing experience at Robinson Restaurant in Long Branch, NJ! The food was absolutely delicious, everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the atmosphere even more enjoyable. From the service to the ambiance to the quality of the food, everything was spot on.

We stop by for fish taco and a burger. Amazingly good food, best fish taco I had in a while. Our waiter (Mati) was awesome, so friendly and helpful. Food came promptly and fresh. Thanks for such great service!

I really don’t understand some of the negative reviews I have read about this place. Since I loved the location in Asbury Park, I figured I would give this location a shot while visiting the area. Upon walking in, I was greeted by the hostess and was seated promptly without a reservation. I had great service from my server, Nellwyn, who was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Crab and Asparagus Frittata, which was delicious and was beautifully presented on my plate. I also had a check-in from whom I believed to be the manager to make sure everything was up to my standards. This location is much smaller than the one I visited in Asbury Park, but they do offer both indoor and outdoor dining. They have a good-sized menu, which I believe is the same or similar as the other location I visited with the same pricing. Overall, I enjoyed my first visit with no complaints, and I look forward to eating here again in the future.

Amazing food right by the boardwalk. Crab cake was good. Thai Chilli wings were the best item we ordered. Beer flight was worth the price. Overall a good place on Long branch to enjoy nice sea breeze and have a bite.
