I have been looking for a new place to get steak due to having three bad experiences at the Texas roadhouse. Me and my wife decided to give this place a chance and we will definitely be back. The steaks are huge and delicious.

This homey little place has amazing food, a friendly staff and real mashed potatoes!
Chicken fried steak was very tender, mashed potatoes were homemade & the steamed veggies weren’t overdone. The BBQ sampler is HUGE I left with well over 1/2 of it for another meal.
I will be going here again.

While looking a little plain on the outside with a simple sign and small flashing neon open sign, it was well worth going inside. The interior has a nice rustic look with plenty of seating and even a pool table in the corner. The staff was very friendly and accommodating; they always checked on us and refilled waters, etc. The pulled pork burger was great, as was the chicken Parmesan and Chicken Caeser Salad. For me it was the ribeye cooked medium rare with mushrooms and onions on top. It was very tender and cooked to perfection. The loaded baked potato was also awesome! I would also highly recommend the strawberry lemonade (you can get it with vodka too!!), it was also perfect.

The food was good with large portions. The fries were not good, nor the bread. We ordered medium rare ribeye and the middle was more on the medium side. When asked about our meal, we mentioned this… the owner/server guy seemed uncomfortable with us saying this and backed away to watch his NBA game. We were the first here when they opened and the only table until we left. Overall, it’s pretty good but probably won’t come back.

Great spot just barely outside of town. Got a perfectly cooked ribeye steak, fresh salad, veggies, baked potato and toast for maybe $30. Absolutely worth the 10 minute drive! Great homemade tasting food. Great atmosphere. Excellent service and can’t beat the prices. Will definitely be back.

Tried this restaurant and found it to be great in both service and quality of the food. Will be back whenever I come out here. Super friendly folks who own and run this establishment. Another large group had prime rib which we should have ordered as it looked great and those in that group commented it was fantastic. We came with our minds set on a couple burgers and they were delicious. Nice location and not too crowded for a Sunday night.

Absolutely one of the best meals I’ve had here in Yakima. I rarely support or even branch out to local restaurants as I am one to eat at places I’m used to. Thankfully my girlfriend and I decided to drive around to find a local restaurant that we had never visited. I’ve had drove past this place countless times and decided to give it a try. Let me start off by saying that the place was very welcoming despite being dead empty. I assumed this was the case as we had showed 50 minutes till closing. I am not one to complain about service nor food as I had expected things to not be at the best towards closing. Despite this, we were serviced in a timely manner and had a very nice meal. Don’t get me wrong, the dishes weren’t a complete 10/10 but still packed flavor. Compared to bigger chains like Dickeys and Texas Roadhouse, the meat has its own unique flavor. I’ve been getting into bbq recently and despite not craving the “bbq sampler” I got it anyways. I’m glad I did not pass as I got a bang for my buck. The dish was so good that I dropped bbq sauce on myself! Fries were warm inside with a light crisp finish. And the coleslaw caught me by surprise as it had its own twist. The meat was definitely cooked in patient process as I had no meat that was chewy. Turns out the owner does his own cuts and has 3 different types of smokers! My girlfriend had gotten the steak and shrimp special with an appetizing baked potato. Amazing food, service, cozy atmosphere, and a great conversation with the owner for the price of $60 (with tip). You really can’t beat it. You can tell the owner wants to grow and better his business. To all the negative comments, please give this place a 2nd chance as the owner seems to take feedback and apply it to the business. Definitely coming back!

I went in with a party of 8 to see if their Prime Rib was as good as we heard. We have many other choices in restaurants so we were hoping it was good pick. This was the 3rd chance we gave them because the other two times the servers were friendly, nice, and fairly efficient and food was alright. This time, we were extremely dissatisfied by the in attentive and downright rudeness of our server. I rarely give bad reviews but when a service staff is rude, is just beyond belief to me. Maybe she figured since there was automatic big party gratuity she could treat us less than? Well needless to say, she didn’t get any extra which we almost always tip more than automatic gratuity. Prime rib was alright, lots of fat. But to be treated like that, we won’t be back! Not a pleasant experience.
