If you see this place run! Away! I bit into multiple dishes and spit them out. Nothing tasted good. And then two hours later I felt very sick and my stomach hurt all night long.

This is my first time ordering and my expectations were greatly exceeded. The food was fresh and flavorful, the driver was 15 minutes ahead of schedule and extremely pleasant. It’s only fair to give this type of quality and service a full 5 stars. (I just found my new go-to seafood spot.)

If I could leave no stars, that’s how I would rate this place. This place was beyond terrible. First let’s start with false advertisement. The place states that they have seafood boil, which in fact its a buffet ( in which even that was a stretch) that has the Option for you to order seafood items off an additional menu. The “seafood boil menu” looked very sus and due being hungry I didn’t want to waste time and money. Decided to go with the buffet idea, (cause how could you mess that up) right, well this place found a way. Food was cold, dry and not fresh at all, the food didn’t have any flavor and tasted like two day old leftovers. The “butter” was legit oil. “Sushi” stale. After one plate I refused to eat anything else, I spoke to the person running the front who tried to lie and tell me they bought fresh food out, in which nothing had changed from the last 20 minutes. I could go on and on but I’m running out of characters to write. BEWARE DO NOT EAT HERE

My girlfriend and I were craving seafood boil and didn’t want to drive all the way to the city for it, so we did some research and came across Crab Du Jour. It was a little confusing finding the location since it is actually inside Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet, you just need to ask for the seafood boil menu.
Staff was nice, but that really is the only good thing about this place. The seafood boil itself was pretty bad…. We ordered the family combo which came with 1lb snow crab legs, 1lb shrimp, and 1lb clams in the garlic butter sauce, medium spicy. There was no flavor at all and the clams tasted a bit rubbery… Some of them were not cleaned out properly so it was sandy as well. With french fries, a soda, tip, and tax, the total came out to about $65, which isn’t terrible compared to other places. But I would definitely drive a little bit further next time for better seafood boil

When I tell you the hush puppies were over cooked they tasted like coal, it was so bad and I love this franchise. But this location has to be the worst one. And when I ordered the Crab meat fries, the french fries tasted like soggy cafeteria fries. I do not recommend.

Ordered a shrimp Po boy from here. They were out of shrimp Po boys. Didn’t understand that because they offered a shrimp basket afterwards. Shrimp po boys are essentially just a sandwich could have just added a roll to the shrimp. But nonetheless, the service is great. The fried shrimp wasn’t bad and they’re fries were good. They have a nice selection for their fries. Only thing I would say is Maybe use old bay or a combination of the two. cajun seasoning doesn’t really do anything on its own. Overall, not that bad

Very speedy. The fried scallops were a tad expensive and to be honest, I can get them for $5 at any local Asian take out place and for a lot better quality. The fried pickles were AMAZING but the fried batter around the scallops just kept wilting and falling off rendering the scallop tasteless.

The pictures above is not what’s really served here. They have never served snow crag legs in all the times I’ve eaten there. The place is dark and the service is very unfriendly. They want to get you in and get you out as fast as possible.

I usually don’t review, and try not to eat at places with a bad rating. I went to a highly rated seafood restaurant in ny and another in jersey. Maybe I’m just comparing it to New Orleans because I didn’t really enjoy either. They didn’t have that amazing flavor or Cajun spice. Crab Du Jour Cajun crab, scallops, crawfish, shrimp, potatoes, and corn was really good. I’d probably ask for even more Cajun on the side for the bottom of the boil lol. Damn that was good! I’ll be back. You should get too many crabs and a moderate amount of scallops, those are my favorite.
