Recommend booking in advance (though we got seated as walk-ins that day).
Ordered ribs, salad, and French onion soup.
The salad with ham felt a bit unusual – you can skip it.
Ribs were outstanding – juicy and delicious!
The onion soup was the richest and most unique I’ve had in Vienna; tried several others afterward and none came close. Highly recommend!!
Service here is fast and no-nonsense.
The staff clearly work under pressure,
and at times it can come across as rushed,
even a little abrupt.
But the food more than made up for it.
We ordered the ribs with five different flavours, meant for two people — and even with four of us, we struggled to finish it.
The ribs were excellent: tender, well-seasoned, and cooked just right.
The starters were good too. We had fried mozzarella and deep-fried mushrooms — crispy outside, still juicy inside, and not greasy despite being deep-fried.
The restaurant itself is located in the basement, nothing fancy, very much focused on getting food out efficiently.
If you can get a table, the food is genuinely good and worth the visit.

The service is excellent. One of the waiters, I believe his name is Ivan, was wonderful, and there was also a lovely female server who took great care of us. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and professional.
We’ve tried different rib sets — large and small portions, BBQ sauce, sweet sauce, classic ribs — and everything has been absolutely delicious every time. The beer is always great as well.
The truffle French fries are a must-try — simply amazing. I would definitely recommend making a reservation, as the place is usually quite busy.
Prices are very reasonable, the food quality is outstanding, and the waiting time is very good — everything is prepared and served quite quickly. The meat is truly phenomenal. Highly recommend this place to everyone.
Was pleasantly surprised at how tasty everything was! The ‘fillet steak’ was incredibly tasty and tender but don’t ask me what cut it was, I honestly couldn’t tell. The signature ribs came in a huge portion so order carefully!
Highly recommend this place!
Be sure to book ahead, because there’s always a long line waiting outside.
P.S. We loved the cherry bomb surprise — thank you!
P.S recommended to reserve a table before hand. The place was completely full and we waited like 45mins to get a table for us. But still we were so happy that we waited until the end and enjoyed our meal.
Service was friendly, fast, and attentive.
Highly recommend!

Knowing the ribs would be a heavy meal, I skipped the fried starters and went for a comforting potato and mushroom soup with bacon. My waitress was incredibly kind and took the time to recommend her personal favorites, which led me to order the mixed board of ginger, diablo, and garlic ribs so I could try different tastes.
It takes about 25 to 30 minutes for them to prepare the ribs after ordering, but it was a great choice. As soon as that massive, sauce-covered wooden board arrived with plenty of coleslaw and dips, I knew the wait was 100% worth it !
