IL LAGO Pizza & Pasta

Locals say Buffalo Chip’s pizza in Westwood is best around. I’ve eaten there 4 times and I don’t like their crust. Il Lago’s pizza dough blows their’s away; authentic and bubbly. Blue cheese Wedge salad is delicious. Staff is attentive, courteous and professional. I love this place.

We had calzones each a different pizza combo. It is recommended to have a reservation here. This is a busy establishment. Eating outside would be recommended. As with a sitting bar inside it gets very loud.

First I want to say our waitress was an absolute sweetheart. I didn’t get her name, but we sat in the first booth behind the wait to be seated sign, her friendly personality won me over right away. We ordered two dinner salads that were good. We also got one of the best pizzas I’ve had in all my 42 years of life. We ordered the Smoke Chaser, which came on a thin crust, chicken, bacon, green onion and smoked Gouda cheese drizzled with BBQ sauce. If you’re in Almanor, check them out. The restaurant was very clean as well. They have indoor & outdoor seating available and a full bar.

Excellent service and delicious food. We sat on the deck and they allowed our dog to join us. They also brought out a bowl of water for her. Super thoughtful. I had the Alfredo with sausage and my husband had the turkey twist. Highly recommend this restaurant. It’s a bit on the expensive side, so perfect for a nice evening out.

It was the worst pizza in my life. I asked about extra cheese and got NO cheese at all. cold uneaten by someone, the pizza you can find near 7 Eleven is tastier. I’m glad that they didn’t mess up with water.

An amazing restaurant off the main track in Chester. I was surprised by how tasty the food was with quality ingredients and delectable flavors. Service was suberb and sitting outside in the evening was relaxing surrounded by the pine trees.

We stopped in for a quick lunch. Outdoor tables were available with perfect weather and well placed umbrellas for shade or tables without for sunny service.

We ordered a mini pizza and a turkey sandwich with mozzarella sticks.

Everything was perfect and delivered as ordered by a great server. We would certainly eat there again.

Not great. Food was mediocre. I got a thin crust pizza which was actually okay. My husband got a chicken Caesar salad and it came with the smallest little piece of very dry chicken and no dressing on the salad. Same with the chicken parm, very tiny piece of chicken on a plate of pasta and sauce. Clam linguine was pretty tasteless. Not impressed at all for a $200 dinner. Incredibly overpriced for the quality of the food

Excellent food but with only one waitress, she was racing around to take care of everyone. She took good care of us,just a lag to wait for to go boxes. She did her best.
The linguini with clams was delicious, but way too watery. The rest of the meal was fantastic.

We ate outside on the deck and had FANTASTIC service. Our waitress was on it.
I love the clams linguini, but they’re very watery. I can’t complain, because they are just delicious. The salad and bread accompanied and my taste buds in heaven. Highly recommend ♡
