Absolutely delicious and authentic!
At first, I was skeptical when I stopped by Iceland Café & Bakery by Josi Sweet’s — I was just looking for a good cup of coffee, but they didn’t have any that day. So I decided to try some food instead, and oh my God — I’m so glad I did! The dishes were incredibly tasty, full of authentic African flavor, and you can tell everything is made with love.
And please, do yourself a favor — get a slice of cheesecake! I honestly can’t remember the last time I had one that good. Creamy, rich, and absolutely perfect.

I stopped by Island Café in Taunton on Friday because I was craving something sweet, and I’m so glad I did! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the owner is such a sweetheart. My husband and I tried a few treats — everything was delicious! The Biscoff cheesecake was amazing, but the banana pudding was absolutely everything. If you haven’t tried them yet, I highly recommend it! Thank you Josi for everything ❤️

my husband told me about this place as he was passing by it during work. I have to say, we are sooo happy we don’t have to travel 30 mins to get cachupa! The cachupa refogado is packed with flavor and not dry and pale like other places we’ve tried. Service and hospitality was amazing. The place is very clean, organized and well put together. We will definitely be back very soon! Thank you Islands cafe & bakery !
