Excellent choice for Indian food. Just a bit spendy, not bad. Usually enough to feed two people with one entree. Real Fair prices on freezer section. Very large take home selection, pretty much everything they serve during Deli/Cafe hours. The fresh food is authentic and awesome as well as the take-home freezer section. So many flavors naan is great also can get in freezer section.

I went with a friend to the restaurant for lunch. We weren’t sure what to get, so we asked the person taking our order for suggestions. She asked a few questions about our tastes and then suggested excellent options. I got the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, mango lassi, and a pomegranate soda. Everything was so good and so reasonably priced, it was excellent. There was plenty to take leftovers and it came in a tinfoil bowl so it was already good for leftovers. The food was great, the service was great, the atmosphere was great. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to get good Indian food.

Restaurant is attached with grocery shop.
Very tasty food with reasonable prices than most of Indian restaurants in Minneapolis.
Groceries are well stocked too with fresh veggies and others.

We had weekend special Mutton Pulao and Haleem in Fresh India today. Both taste awesome and authentic indian feel. Also, enough quantity on the family pack where 3 of us had it.

A very pleasant place to shop for traditional India groceries, ingredients and food (at the food counter). I almost always go there to buy my spices, a really really GREAT selection of fresh, super high quality familiar and ethnic spices, decent produce and varietals of Indian cuisine, with basic household needs too. Excellent to have in the east metro.

: Sadly, the store opening didn’t live up to the hype. The grocery section seemed very mismanaged (everyone trying to do everything) and the deli was definitely not ready. Ok, new store – let’s cut them some slack. But menus? Menus are basic, and they didn’t even have that handy on Day #1. Went back on Day #2, and they were basically serving the same limited selection @ the deli, AND still no menu!

Their grocery prices are competitive, but the produce section wasn’t fresh. The $8.99 lunch was just lackluster – 3 pieces of Paneer and the rest was all gravy. Also, we were told that they are only going to serve vegetarian. Sad. We have had better Samosas.

I ordered samosa chat to go while I was shopping in the store. When picked up my food my order was cold and soggy. I was very disappointed.

Good variety of grocery items and things are generally labeled. Employees are friendly. However, our complaint is with the cafe side. We ordered an egg briyani and a paneer briyani — extra spicy. Though they didn’t accommodate our spice request, the egg briyani was moist and extremely flavorful. Meanwhile, the paneer briyani was dry and absolutely flavorless. Disappointed because we were really looking forward to our meal.

What a great resource to have in Woodbury if you love Indian food. The store is stocked with an amazing amount of products. Staff was extremely helpful in helping me navigate when they could see I was overwhelmed.

Deli area has hot food which I couldn’t resist. Food was good, but personally would like an option for something spicy. Be aware there is nowhere to sit and eat (ended up eating in my car as I do not live nearby) and there are only vegetarian options.
