We are a neighborhood restaurant located in the Warehouse District with a menu of shareable dishes inspired by the cultures, past and present, that make up the melting pot that is New Orleans. Chef Farrell Harrison, a Louisiana native, works with local farmers and fisherman to create simply prepared dishes utilizing local, sustainable ingredients. Elements and flavors of Spanish, French, Italian, Vietnamese, Mediterranean, German, Cajun and African cooking can be found throughout the menu.

Service was great. The bar staff were really on form.
The food was excellent. I had seared tuna, a whiskey sour, and a chocolate and berry mousse with cocoa nibs. Everything was spot on. The tuna in particular tasted like something you’d get at a Michelin-starred place.
Prices were reasonable, especially for the quality. The space itself is really nice, easy to find, and there’s plenty of room. There’s also some outdoor seating. It was too cold when I visited to try it out, but it looked like a good option in warmer weather.
Very highly recommended. I really, really liked it.
Worth a visit for great food and a charming atmosphere.
The entire experience was nothing short of incredible. Some restaurants are great for appetizers, mains, beverages or desserts – Chef & team knock it out of the park for every aspect of their offerings. Hosts, servers & bar staff are outstanding – and you can tell they love their jobs.
Squash salad was fantastic – and I’m not one to usually reach for kale or arugula – healthy food has NO BUSINESS BEING THIS DELICIOUS, CHEF. The mushroom toast was savory & perfectly balanced with the egg. THE LAMB. I am still thinking about it a day later. And the crème brûlée with the beverage pairing. Again, nothing bad to say.
Go to Plates, you’ll be happy at the bar (ask for Ruby or Zach!!) or at table service.
We tried different dishes as per the bartender’s advice and my goodness – probably one of the best restaurants we’ve been to in the US.
We recommend the mushroom sourdough – puff puffs – shrimps with black garlic – tuna crudo – chocolate mousse & cheesecake.
