Very slow to get assistance then when I got the food it was just luke warm. Ordered from the Long John Silver menu so the food was kept in a warmer not made fresh like the taco bell menu. That was very disappointing . Staff was nice but took close to 5 minutes before they approached me at the counter, since you can’t order from the self serve kiosk for Long John’s only the taco bell menu can be accessed through the self serve.

I had to repeat a very simple order five times before the employee managed to get my order completely wrong. It’s just one meal with two pieces of chicken, not hard. Beyond that they overcharged me gave me stuff I didn’t order and for free, but they did give me explosive diarrhea.

Was hit with a little nostalgia and wanted to try Long John’s because most locations have now closed and there are none where we live. We were in town visiting friends for the holidays. Now I feel like I’ll never want to have Long John’s again in my life. Everything was so greasy. I understand it’s fast food and everything is deep fried but putting the fish and chicken piled on top of the fries just made it disgusting. I should’ve known it was going to be gross since our two meals were placed on the pick up before we could even fill up our fountain drinks. It looked like the food had been fried a long time ago. Chicken was tough and leathery and the hush puppies and fish had so much grease in each bite it was unbearable to eat. We threw it all away and left hungry.

This is about as awful as fast food can possibly be.
Ordered an L2 meal, which is chicken planks. Food came out fast which is a plus. But it was cold. Second time I’ve eaten here and food came out cold both times. There were iced tea urns but something came out that was definitely not tea. I asked if they had tea behind the counter; nope. Really? What happens if someone in the drive thru orders tea? They used to have BBQ dipping sauce for the chicken planks. No more.
And here’s the best part: There was a long black hair in the bottom of the box containing my meal. Definitely not mine because I’m bald and my hair wasn’t black. Absolutely disgusting.
Needless to say, we won’t be back. They obviously aren’t even trying.

Stopped by for early dinner. I have always loved the food at LJS.. food was great but cleanliness issues are everywhere. Guy at the register was pleasant and responsive.
Chicken and clams for me here… good deal for the money.
Bathroom was pathetically filthy and smelled disgusting. There was so much dirt build up at the high chairs by the door I nearly gagged and with staff elbows on food prep area and drinking on the food line (in gloves of course) see photos. Employees on their phone which is probably why the order took way longer than it should have to make it out to me.
Music was extremely loud in the dinning room.

LJS is seriously our favorite place for chicken! No sauce needed.
The last time I went here, unfortunately our chicken was a little bit old and we brought it back up and they replaced it for us
We live about 30 minutes away and there are no other long John silvers near us so whenever I am out in the area, I like to stop by
I explained to the gentleman at the drive-through last time I came in the chicken wasn’t super fresh and he offered to make us fresh chicken and hush puppies
Talk about amazing customer service.
I gave him the problem and he instantly came up with a solution
He even walked the food out to my car as I had to wait a few minutes to get it fresh.

I ordered an L1 which is a meal that comes with a drink and 2 pieces of fish and fries. They repeated back to me twice an L1. I get Home. It’s 2 little scrawny pieces of chicken planks, 2 Hush Puppies and no fries. I try to call to talk to them and nobody answers. And then it becomes a fax machine. This business has gone downhill in the last 6 months. Farther than I wanna go.

We Ordered anyway and wanted every dropped fresh because it was to go and had a 25 minute drive.. They told us the food had recently been put out and there was No Need to drop anything fresh…
Unfortunately will not be going to Long John Silvers again because the next nearest store is a hour away.
No wonder LJS is slowly going out of business…
