My family did the Thursday night trivia. We ate before the contest started. We were pleased with the prices. I think everyone’s meal was about $10 plus the beer was only $2.50 on tap. My daughter loved the flavor of the fried bologna sandwich but wished it was a tad larger. Otherwise the Reuben sandwiches, Philly cheesesteak and the taco pizza were all well received.

Been coming here a few years, mostly takeout. Consistently good food and friendly service. Pizza, burgers, cheeseballs, etc…all good, tried the new roast beef sandwich from the special menu last night, YUM!
It can get loud depending on the crowd but never obnoxious (unlike some other places in town I’m sorry to say). You can sit and talk with your wife here, which is what I witnessed last night, couples enjoying their Friday dinner.
I’ll be back for more, I recommend you give this tavern a try.

On Saturday Oct.25, 2026 I had the 2 piece catfish fillet plate. I cannot recommend this plate as the outside of the catfish is very hard. I would recommend changing this to look and taste more like a cornmeal batter. Other than that everything was good. Bartender is very attentive to her customers.

Ate Thanksgiving dinner. It 2as very good. So happy we made reservations. They were only serving to reservations parties. Some people just walked in off the street and had to leave.

Don’t pass this place up! Stop in for food and drink with friends or family, food is served hot to your table or at the bar. Prompt service with a smile. Home town feel. Must experience.

Fast, friendly service. We enjoyed ice cold beer on Cajun day. Loved the huge portion of Cajun white fish and jambalaya with a side plate of the boudin balls. So nice to see such a friendly neighborhood tavern!

I just don’t understand what to tell these people!!! I want my pizza crispy, I don’t care if the edges are burnt, make sure the bottom is brown. Every time I get limp white on the bottom of the pizza. The photo is from the edge. You can imagine what the rest looks like. Thin crust is supposed to be crispy when you bite into it. I’ve tried multiple times and I guess they just don’t care. Last time for me!!!

Online menu needs updating. Came for steak, shrimp basket. Neither on menu now. Service was slow. Had to ask for glass of water 3 times. Food was so-so. Portions were small. Bun was stale. Fries were warm, At best. One order had to be sent back. We will not be returning.

Great pizza double top deluxe, not a driving food but I done ok last time I done that I was drunk years ago. Little bit messy but I had a roll of paper towels in the truck. I recommend you try it out sometime
