We had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Tasting Room for Restaurant Week. From start to finish, everything was exceptional.
Our server, Abby, was wonderful — personable, engaging, kind, and very knowledgeable about the menu. She truly added to the experience and made the evening feel relaxed and special.
The tenderloin wontons were such a tasty start — perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The elk steak was amazing — incredibly tender with a rich, delicious sauce that made it unforgettable. And dessert was outstanding: a Dubai chocolate pistachio cheesecake bite paired with a spoonful of crème brûlée. It was the perfect ending to a beautifully curated meal.
The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it ideal for a special night out. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back!

I took my girlfriend here for Valentine’s Day and spent about $300. Everything was EXCELLENT! Food was excellent. Waitress was excellent, Waitress kept checking on us checking to see if we needed anything, waters stayed full drinks were coming out, drinks were excellent. I will definitely be back. Everything was 10/10.

First time here. NY strip steak was VERY fatty. Asked for medium and it came out well. Burger was okay, cooked good. Meatballs were delicious, definitely recommend. Drinks were average. Atmosphere was great, place was very clean. Server was amazing. Overall for the food we got it was pretty over priced.

As a first time visitor to Traverse City, this restaurant was recommended to my family and I. We went for a late bite to eat around 9pm. The hostess was very friendly and seated us right away. Our waitress was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. We ordered some drinks that came out quickly and some appetizers that came out shortly after.
I got the salmon bites which was a good portion. I didn’t particularly like the sauce that was drizzle on it but overall the dish was fresh.
Overall it was an enjoyable experience, but I would try other restaurants in Traverse City before returning.

Liberty Liefeld
The service here was amazing, from the hostess to our waitress to the bussers. The food however really fell short for me. I got the lettuce wraps and there was something really off about them. My mom ended up liking them and was able to eat them. She also got a gin flight which was really fun and I got a cosmo that was nice. I don’t think I’d return as someone who is traveling to traverse city.

Meatball appetizer, Alaskan Halibut and Fusilli al Blue w/prime filet were all delectable! Then for dessert – the Dubai Chocolate cheesecake melts in your mouth! If we lived in the area, we would be back again to try more of the menu items! Everything sounds, looks and are aromatically delicious!

Absolutely amazing food, drinks, and service. This place personifies fine dining and not a single thing betrays the price point. The filet, the lobster, the crab, and the best part hands down; the beef wellington bites. Our server Abby was the best and beyond patient and I would recommend this place immediatly to anyone looking for a beautifully crafted dinner.

The appetizer was the best part of the meal. GOAT cheese croquettes. I had the lobster tails. They were large but not cleaned well. I had to remove all of the uneatable parts. I had the Painkiller to drink. It was the most disgusting drink I’ve ever had. The nutmeg was absolutely overwhelming. The dessert was so so at best. We tried the pistachio cheese cake. It was really more of a moose texture. It wasn’t very good. We waited so long for everything. Service was okayish. For $250 dinner it wasn’t worth it at all.
